Service is consistently going downhill, worse and worse. Their call center is the worst. Would give 0 stars if possible. We used to get the same person and personalized service with needs both in person and on the phone. Don't reach out these days. A screw up on our end caused hundreds in fees, and a request for some understanding was met with Colin and Rob who sure don't give a care. They gave an inch where a foot was reasonable. I'm sure their job is awful but the passive aggressive snide tone when someone is actually trying to politely ask for help where there was obvious error sure isn't going to make your job any better. You'd expect such crummy treatment from some of these national brands, but man, for a bank that tries so hard to prove they are small town friendly. The call center is an epic fail.

Slow service, I was told it would only take a minutes to get my card made yet they had me waiting for 8 minutes. I called in advance to get the card made so I wouldn’t have to wait and Tim stated that I couldn’t get it made ahead of time. Why lie about how long it will take? Just to still have to wait another 5-10 minutes to use the card!!

Do not bank with this bank!!! I bank with USbank. An employee of mine banks, with Southpoint they took the funds from my account, which was his paycheck and are holding the funds they said they are holding it. Why would they hold funds that have been taken out of my account already? This has caused him to go over drawn. They said they need to hold a check for seven days. They’re not holding a check it was cashed already. This is poor business practice. I called the corporate office. His bank will hold funds to receive overdraft fees. Still waiting to hear back from the finance manager. I’m shocked!!!

We have our house loan through SP!! Unfortunately, we want to buy property up north! Met with Brian Serbus in New Ulm on Monday, Oct. 5. He said he would get back to us at the end of the week! Well it's the end of October and still you response! Called again last week and left message! Still no response! Some friends of ours said South Point sucks for loans!! WAY TOO SLOW!!

When we moved to town we opened our accounts at SouthPoint. We have enjoyed their friendly and knowledgable advice numerous times. We are very grateful for how easy it was to switch everything to this branch.
