This Place Is Completely a Joke!!! They Have No Remorse And No Respect! I’ve Been Calling Over 2 Months Daily Monday-Friday,Exactly 8:00 Am Everyday Holding On The Line Just To Be Told The Same Lie Everyday,Call Back On Tomorrow! The System Lets These Type Of Lazy Disrespectful Individuals Sit In a Office To Supposedly To Help The Low Income People,But Instead They Sit In And Be Rude To The people Trying To Keep Their Electric On,Yelling And Dropping The Line…. This Is Just Not Fair To The People!!! And The Sad Thing Is,Nothing Is Being Done About This Poor System! We Deserve To Be Able To Apply And Get Help,Thats Right There From The Government,But They Will Not Let You Get The Help You Need!!! I Wish I Could Give Zero Stars To These Unprofessional Rude Individuals!!!!!!!!

After 2 years of going to court for divorce and paying child support continuously during that time, the divorce is finally granted and child support ordered again through the court. So instead of paying through the court ordered app Mississippi department of human services child support division took over. And they took a draft of the child support from my social security disability check. Without asking anyone they said I was in the rears, in a sense without asking anybody said I was a deadbeat dad. And they ordered the rears taken out of my social security disability along with regular child support. I spoke to them for the whole month of July 2025 to make sure this did not happen. I sent proof that I was never behind in any child support. They had the ex coming there and sign an affidavit saying that was true. And they still took out extra money from social Security despite the fact that they told me that everything was good and no extra money would be coming from my paycheck. When I called them up they said it hasn't even entered their system. I called social Security and they say the issue the check to them the same day they issue it to me. And I called them back 3 days later and asked them if they received the money and they said no. It's not showing up in their system. But when it showed up well I could request a refund. And I'd have to fill out additional paperwork and sign it. And who knows how long it'll take after that for me to actually get my disability money back. I explained to them and they know this that it's social security disability meaning I don't have a lot of money and this was my food money. They don't give a crap whether I eat or not. I'm not a name or person I am just a number. If I don't eat they don't care. I told them I was going to call them back twice a day until the money showed up and I got my refund and they were going to know how freaking hungry I was. Because they stole my money the same as any other thief stealing any other money. They had no right to take it out yet they did. They said they corrected all their mistakes they did not. I'd like to get a warrant out for the person's arrest who made this mistake. Because their damn sure would taking more out for my arrest if I didn't pay any money. I'm hungry and I'm angry. This is unacceptable I talk to them for a whole month and they assured me everything was okay.

Rude, disrespectful , lies to customers (“will call tomorrow” but no calls after 5 days). I have called them daily for the past week and phone has rung up to 40 times, than busy signal! I even received an interview date and time (3:30 on the 28th) but they called at 3:05 while I was driving home & per MS HP, calls made or answered should not be done while driving. When I got home, I tried to call and no answer! IM SENDING A FORMAL COMPLAINT TO DHS WITH A COPY TO THE GOVERNOR’s OFICE. If you’re having problems, please notify both DHS AND THE GOVERNOR’S Office!!!!!

I got called for a interview for food stamps I called back 15 mins later and could not get anyone on the phone I called several times after that until they closed and still go voice mail, the next day I emailed my case worker and she replied back but never did anything I kept calling and ended up calling over 50 times just to get through to someone and my case still will not be done in time to get approved for the 4th like I was promised, things needs to change either phones need to be updated. Or new people need to be put in the office this is insane.
