Don’t like the merge an extra $1.50 they charge on top of ATM fees plus a charge each month to have the account with them and customer service is not the same as it was before been banking with MCU for 7 years now but plan on closing my account. Go to another credit union

Hello Linda’s If I am on here writing a review then it’s due to extremely amazing service or I am trying to warn you, because you at risk for a terrible experience.! I’ll start with Chris who was having a bad day , because someone must’ve eaten his Wheaties. This man has no problem with being extraordinarily rude to senior citizens. He feels comfortable enough with chastising them when are seeking help. While generally most employees at this branch are helpful , respectful, professional, and friendly! Employees at this branch have lost important paperwork numerous times, which has needed to be replaced more twice. While they we’re mostly nice and professional it is a challenge to also add insult to previous incidents here. To keep trusting when there are errors that are consistent and affect one’s business. I will only add that you are rolling the dice coming here as to the kind of service that you will receive. Usually, it is top tier. However, Linda’s you must be very mindful that they are notorious for losing important paperwork. You might also receive chastisement from the employees when all you need is help.

Don't deposit money through the ATMs. When they mess up they won't ballence the machine or give you your money back. Have been waiting a week for a large deposit to be credited to our account.

We love to support our local Credit Unions, and just met a few of the staff downtown, and the Buttonwood branch. Was a really nice atmosphere of helpful people. Opened a new account and really getting settled in Columbia nicely!

They have really bad customer service, especially this branch. I’m glad I terminated my account. Central bank and US Bank are way better. No wonder they’re trying to merge it with River Region. This Credit Union cannot hold their head above water.
