Have been with them for a long time. My father followed them as it was the Steelworkers Union before United Consumers.

Before April 4, 2025 had zero issues, depositing checks through the App - I do this 2-3 times a week. It was very efficient - upload image front and back and it posted immediately to my account. I liked this option after two branches by my house were closed. After April 7, with the new and improved "System Upgrade" that was supposed to be stronger more efficient system, with up-to-date technology - is a joke!!!! It's not efficient for me the customer it's actually costing me time and money!! Having to now drive to the bank just to deposit checks. I mean I could use the app but then I have to wait until the next day and then use my time to call them to see why they haven't done their jobs. I was told it was a system issue to it's not a system issue it's one person that enters all of the remote deposits and she's been busy but will get to it when she can. That's not an efficient system after all. The one before was much better!!! Who's ever idea it was to go with this new system needs to have their position reevaluated cause they may just end up costing UCCU a lot of customers- I'm ready to switch banks over this issue with the remote deposit. Why offer something that DOESN'T WORK ok it works but I shouldn't have to babysit UCCU's employees making sure they do their jobs!!

If you want a bank with an app that is "down for maintenance" or is being "updated" constantly this is the bank for you. Randomly being unable to access your mobile bank account during weekends is a normal occurrence. EDIT: The unnamed new app im supposed to download hasn't been dropped for android. No problem for my bank, but I still have bills to pay. Seriously making me question my membership.
