I've been with them since fresh out of high school. I'm currently 46 years old. Back in October I had 2 fraudulent transactions...somebody had used my information to purchase 2 E-gift cards online...$200 each, and then emailed those cards to some unknown email address. When I checked my email, it showed they actually tried making other transactions, but luckily I didn't have enough in my account, so those extra transactions failed. I notified SLCCU, opened a case, and they credited my account with a couple of weeks. Then...I get an email from SLCCU at the end of December (right when my rent is due) saying the information the merchants had on file for the transactions matched what they had in their records (of course, because they used MY info), and because of this they reversed the decision and take that $400 back. I'm not sure what their definition of fraudulent is, but there have been multiple times where I'd try to make a purchase online, like for my music equipment, and then they lock my card flagging it as fraudulent. Meanwhile, somebody in a whole other state can steal my info, use said info to make multiple transactions, and somehow do so without and flagging whatsoever. Yeah...thanks for the memories SLCCU, but I think it's time for me to take my business elsewhere.

I've been with st louis community 10+ years and I've been treated awesome by employees if I had any problems they were due to my credit issues and problems I might have paying some bills I cant blame a bank for my mistakes but reading some reviews hear it sounds like people do. Well I come to see Cori my favorite teller she informs me all the time on things to help improve my banking knowledge and expertise, banks as we all no have a lot of fine print, thank you again Cori and all the other employees that have a tough job as we all do to keep me informed and thank you for making me feel like you care! Did great business for over 20 years but the last 2 years have been the worst banking experience of my 70 years of banking. They’ve cost me hundreds of dollars in fees due to randomly locking our account. 3 times in 2 years they have needlessly locked our account for “security concerns”. After appeasing every request they made to verify identity including notarized documents, they were not satisfied and will not release our account. Do not recommend.

I love the credit union but the representative by the name of Ione at the forest park location always has a terrible attitude. Very condescending and doesn't even greet you when you come to her desk. It sucks because this is considered the base location so sometimes you don't have a choice but to come here.

I’ve been with this bank for over 10 years, and I’m honestly disappointed. I made a simple mistake transferring between my own accounts, and they refused to do even a one-time fee reversal — something I’ve never requested before unless it was their error. For a loyal customer of a decade, that’s poor business and terrible customer care. It really shows how little they value long-term customers, and it makes me rethink banking here at all.
