This bank, and particularly Alyssa Fortner, gave exceptional service to my mother. My father passed away 2 years ago and Alyssa was a Godsend to my mother. She went above and beyond and was always happy to help! I highly recommend this bank because of her!

Excellent customer service. Always clean, great staff, beautiful building and has cheaper fees than local banks on ATM withdrawals. Very engaged in the community and always welcoming.

Been a member for many years. Sent a correctly filled out check to pay a monthly phone bill. Check was stolen some time after being mailed at the post office. It was then cashed at another banking institution without being endorsed. SWMFCU paid the other institution even though the check was not endorsed. When I learned of this by receiving a missed payment bill, complete with late charges from the phone company, the CEO of SWMFCU decided that the $50 stolen from my account was too small a sum of money for SWMFCU to pursue, & was an acceptable theft from me. Will be closing my account ASAP, as I feel that ANY amount of money being stolen from a member should be worth their time and effort to try and recover.
