I have been a member for many years. This nickel and diming members is stupid. $5 to transfer money between my own accounts on the phone, really? Charged me $20 to close checking and $20 for savings. They charged me $15 to start the accounts. My parents left 6 digits of cash in old bank, and they will probably change to a different financial institution to do their banking and investments. You people just screwed your selves and lost a substantial customer .

I've financed vehicles and two horse trailers through Intrepid in Helena in the last several years. Intrepid employees have always been extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They do a great job. Everything is easy when I've gone through them.

Extremely bad credit union, do not use this credit union, will not work with you, They charge you an inactivity fee if you don't use one of your accounts and don't even notify you about it. Another way they scam your money off of you. They told me it was a state requirement to charge this fee, but research shows it is not a state requirement, so they also lied to me. This is a scam credit union, they don't care about their members. If I could give them a negative star number I would as they don't even rate 1 star.

I have had an account with Intrepid since 2021. My account is set up so I can only receive estatements. I have not received a single statement since March 2023.I have called and emailed about this issue several times. Each time I was told the situation had been rectified and I would have statements soon. Now this has been going on for months now. Then today I received a notice from one of my automatic payments account telling me my card was declined. I wentbto the store a few days ago and again my card is declined ever since I brought up my statement issue. Now they tell me my account was breached and they have locked my card. No one called or emailed me to let me know what happened they just waited until I contacted them to tell me what happened. I called again today and got more run around. Whatever you do avoid this place. Poor customer service.

They have high overdraft charges, high interest when my credit is decent, and they lock my card on payday when I try and use cashapp even when I call them twice it still stays locked. Abby on the other end of the phone, her phone cuts out constantly and she has been extremely unhelpful. Stay away from this bank.
