Easy to work with Credit Union. I’ve had some car loans through them and have had a good experience with their service. Sheyenne Summers has helped me with great personal care. She follows up and matches rates. Makes me a priority when I need help and answers all my questions. Even when a load is paid up on still checks in, so I’m not just an after thought once a sale is made. When I go to a branch I encounter friendly staff, that makes me feel like I never left my house. I can say without doubt they are an excellent service oriented company. Totally appreciate them!!

We currently own an investment property and are under contract with buyers using an FHA loan to purchase the home. Liberty First Credit Union was the buyers’ original lender, and throughout the process they appeared to complete all standard first-time homebuyer due diligence. Every major step of the transaction had already been cleared to move forward toward closing. The appraisal came back clean. The inspection came back clean. All required documentation had been completed on both sides. Closing was scheduled for Friday, May 22nd. Then, on May 19th at approximately 11:00 a.m., Liberty First informed the buyers that they would no longer be funding the purchase of the property. After weeks of processing, approvals, and preparation, the buyers were suddenly told, less than 72 hours before closing, that the lender was backing out of the deal. What makes the situation even worse was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability shown in the process. For employees of a financial institution to leave first-time homebuyers with responses along the lines of, “We don’t know what to tell you. We aren’t going to help you,” is unacceptable. These buyers are not investors with multiple properties and backup plans. They are first-time homebuyers who live out of state and had been preparing to move into their new home this week. They now find themselves without housing, without answers, and without the financing they were repeatedly led to believe was secure. As property owners, we will move forward. But the real impact falls on the buyers. The people who should have been experiencing one of the most exciting milestones of their lives, only to be blindsided days before closing with virtually no support or meaningful explanation. This entire situation reflects a serious failure in communication, professionalism, and responsibility. Shame on Liberty First Credit Union for the way these buyers were treated.

I spoke to Natalie logue about a loan and she requested a bunch of financial information. I spent a bunch of time sending it to her and got no response back. I reached out to her several times through phone and email and she refuses to respond back. Was able to find a better rate elsewhere. I just find it very disrespectful to you not respond back to your customers.

I recently visited Liberty First and was helped by David, who provided truly outstanding service. From the moment I approached the counter, they greeted me with a warm smile and a professional attitude that immediately put me at ease. They were incredibly efficient and knowledgeable, quickly handling my transactions while answering all my questions with clarity and patience. I especially appreciated how they double-checked everything to ensure accuracy and took the time to explain a few banking options that might be helpful to me in the future. It’s rare to find someone who combines speed, accuracy, and genuine kindness so well—David is a great example of excellent customer service. I left the bank feeling valued and well taken care of. Thank you for making banking such a pleasant experience!

I went rounds for months and finally had to close it , worse customer service I have ever experienced my whole ten plus yours banking here! The said the couldn’t add my husband to my account due to them being short staffed! Wow this place is going done hill.
