Despite these negative reviews (which are obviously a poor attempt at smearing in the name of political interests), the IBEW union has provided my family with a career that has improved all of our quality of lives. The union hall has been an excellent place for gatherings (two highschool graduation parties even!) and the brotherhood is full of hard-working and dedicated individuals.

I think IBEW 265 is a great union hall, heck even support everybody in the trades. Also it is very clear that most of the people spewing false information have no clue about what happened. Also the general contractor is the one that did the hiring of the subs, the carpenters also had a shot at doing the framing on said job, but decided since they didn't win the bid on the concrete, that they didn't want to do any of it.

IBEW Local 265 is a highly respected Union consisting of remarkably honest and professional electricians. It is disheartening to see carpenters, who claim to be Union, but are stealing Union electricians jobs get so upset over a small addition. Also, the carpenters are not affiliated with the Building Trades. Interestingly, some reviewers seem to not know the entire situation and are spewing hate without having the full story. Wouldn't it be beneficial if individuals performed research or contacted the hall prior to spewing hate and lies online?

What a great organization and true union brotherhood. They stay in their lane and don't try to steal other trades work. They stick to electrical and don't try to be welders or carpenters, and they belong to the AFL-CIO. They work great along side of their fellow union brothers.
