Stopped in the other day and talked with Cheryl. She was very helpful answering my questions and had a really positive attitude. It was just nice to talk to someone who didn't look at you as just a number and more of a person. Thank you for the help Cheryl!

Disappointing. I've been a member here for 25 years and the quality of service has steadily gone down. It's become a nuisance to do any business with this branch and I end up spending a lot of money trying to work around their arbitrary rules and impositions. It shouldn't be difficult to move my money but Spirit has found ways to underperform. (Response to response from owner) = Not having access to my money when I need it is only part of the customer service problems here. I requested new checks and was repeatedly issued checks with my name misspelled on them and had to keep driving in to request new checks. I was issued a new debit card and the card was inoperable on delivery and I was told I'd have to pay to get a new card. I had to drive in again to request a new card to actually get a functional card without paying needlessly and was told I'd have to wait weeks to get a new card if I wanted to keep my same card number. I waited weeks and still was issued a different card number and had to go through every company on my autopay list to change my card info. I also was never informed that my debit card is not a "real" Visa card and there are random things I can't buy with it, including using it to pay for rental cars. I was denied service when paying for a rental car when my daily driver was totaled by another driver and the lack of rental car availability cost me about $7,500. The lobby has been closed to public access for over 5 years and I have to buzz the door each time and answer a questionnaire to be allowed in each time. There is no reason to make accessing my money that difficult. Do better

We love spirit of America credit union. Cheryl is awesome! We have done business with her for many years. She is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She is our personal banker and has become a friend. She always takes time to answer our questions and there is a fast turn around time on loan approvals. We trust her and that says a lot! Spirit of America is an awesome credit union because of the people they have working there—they care about you. You get personal customer service which is so different from large banking institutions. We’ve always had positive experiences here and have been completely satisfied with their service. We highly recommend this credit union!

Spirit of America not only has great deals on loans, they have the best staff of any bank I have ever dealt with. They truly care about all their members! They will always try to help you with your needs and tell you ways to raise your credit scores. They do lots of events for members family's throughout the year aand collect items for kids in need at Christmas time. They really do have great values and ethics!

Danielle has always been quick and easy with which to communicate. I have had two car loans with Spirit of America and my family and I have been members for over 40 years. This last car loan was important to me as it was my dream car. Spirit gave me a good deal and it was wrapped up in less than 10 days. A family credit union...
