I recently visited this business and, while I truly appreciate the policies and precautions they have in place to keep customer accounts safe and protected, my experience left me feeling a bit discouraged. The staff seemed more focused on moving on to the next customer, than connecting with the people they’re meant to help. It’s clear they care about security and proper procedure, but the tone used felt condescending at times rather than reassuring. I made the phone call and in-person visit on behalf of an elderly relative, and both times I had a negative experience. The first time was with Becky and the second time was with an elderly worker. We didn’t understand the policy on the phone call interaction, so I decided to visit in-person. After I received an explanation, I was told my relative must come in-person or call the help line. We didn’t have success the first time, so I explained she is 94 and incapacitated. The worker replied, “my mother is 94 and she can still go places.” I thought that was inappropriate and unnecessary. I wasn’t trying to withdraw money, I was trying to assist my relative so she can see her account balance on her own. On both occasions, I was met with a very condescending attitude. You will find better customer service from an ICE agent, Wal-Mart employee or an inept HOA board. I completely understand that every company needs to uphold guidelines — especially when it comes to customer protection — but kindness and respect go a long way. A simple smile or a patient explanation can make all the difference. My hope is that management will emphasize not only accuracy and protection but also empathy and sincere communication. That balance would turn a frustrating moment into a trusting experience. Do better!

They got us kicked off of zelle, stole $400 from us, and then argued with me called me a liar saying that I tried to zelle somebody $400 when my account was negative $400 even though somebody was trying to zelle me so it wouldn't be negative on my end however the team here at credit union doesn't give a damn about what you think all they care about is what's on that screen in front of them if you speak with their managers they still don't care these are the most unprofessional bankers I've ever seen or dealt with, we're moving on to a better Bank Chase will do much better I'm sure of it and I hope the credit union gets bought out by a new company or at least changes their ways because this is the worst bank not only in Boulder City but probably all of Nevada. Bank here at your own risk if you're okay with the bank stealing money from your account and getting you kicked off zelle for no reason then this is your bank. 0 stars

Family within this CU since the 80s. Personal experience isn’t rateable. Bc decent service doesn’t exist here. In 30 years time I’ve had more struggles bc of their outrageous and illegal practices with sharing families account information with other relatives over time. And even worse than that through my experience. My kids also do their banking here. Thankfully they have moved on to bigger and better financial institutions locally. Do not bank here. Unless you need that interest or you have tons of disposable money available. That’s the only way you’re accepted here. Go far away from here with any kind of banking.

I've had this CU since 2000. It's not too bad, but I called the bank a while back about a fraudulent charge and the idiot on the other end told me a "pending" charge has already gone through and there's nothing they can do about it. Where's my fraud protection? I lost $140 because she said there's nothing they can do. Can't even dispute it? Pending means pending. Also the not being open on Saturday thing blows.
