As a member for the past 60 years, I can say that this was the best banking option in the area for many, many years. And then it changed when Chris Parker came in as CEO. All of a sudden members became a secondary concern while community involvement and publicity became paramount. The name change from Northeast to Lighthouse was done with no member involvement. Meetings requiring member input are held weekday afternoons when most members are at work. Loan rates, which were once better than any surrounding banking institutions, are now higher than most other banks.

Christine was amazing, super helpful and great to talk to. I enjoyed my time and experience with her. I would recommend her and Lighthouse to anyone I know. Thank you

This branch is the epitome of professionalism and excellence! I had several opportunities to work with Zoey Gilman and she was absolutely phenomenal. I was very impressed with her knowledge and expertise. Her customer service was impeccable. This branch really lives up to the hospitality that Lighthouse is known for and they always make me feel at home. I highly recommend this location!

My experience with Lighthouse Credit Union has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Their customer service is shockingly unprofessional—rude, dismissive, and clearly not trained to handle even basic issues with respect or efficiency. Their online banking platform is clunky, outdated, and offers very limited functionality. One of the most absurd limitations is the $2,500 daily cap on external transfers. This arbitrary restriction makes it virtually impossible to manage larger transactions without jumping through hoops. Worse still, they have repeatedly blocked my account and revoked my access to online banking simply for attempting to transfer funds to my own primary bank. This completely defeats the purpose of opening a HELOC—what use is a line of credit I can't even access when I need it? To add insult to injury, calling customer service is a nightmare. Expect to wait on hold for an hour only to be met with a rude representative who talks over you and offers little to no resolution. If that wasn’t enough, my in-branch experience was equally disappointing. I had scheduled an appointment and arrived on time, only to be left waiting in an empty lobby with no one in sight. When I approached the teller line to ask for assistance, the woman working there rudely told me I needed to stand in the long teller line just to notify them that I had an appointment—even though I wasn’t there for a transaction. Then I was told to go back and wait in the lobby again. Complete nonsense and a waste of time. Lighthouse Credit Union has shown zero regard for customer experience, and I cannot in good faith recommend them to anyone looking for reliable financial services. Save yourself the stress—look elsewhere.

I had a horrendous experience recently with my Bank of America Visa (after being a customer for 21 years!) and needed some information to fight a decision they had made. I happened to get Zoe Gilman as my associate, and she was not only personable and understanding, but bent over backwards to help me. She served my needs that day and kept in touch over email. Since you can't fight massive BoA, I ended up opening a Visa with Lighthouse and was pleased with how seamless it was. But Zoe's knowledge and very human interaction is what made my experience excellent.
