Opened an account here and was quite pleased with the service. Now my daughter has an account also. The staff here was quick and efficient, all while being very nice and personable. Looking forward to a long, professional relationship with our new credit union. Thanks all. Keep up the good work!

Don't use this CU if you use Quicken financial apps. The new online banking system drops support for Quicken. Directly from the web site FAQ: "Quickbooks and Quicken users should disconnect Service Credit Union from their accounts by October 20, 2025, and no later than October 14, 2025 if they use Quickbooks Bill Pay and/or Quicken Bill Manager. The connection to our new platform will be unavailable for up to five business days following the upgrade. Once the connection is available, please use Web Connect to link Quicken and/or Quickbooks. Direct Connect and Express Web Connect will not be supported."

The WORST SOFTWARE UPDATE in the history of this credit union. You must have the software people testing their own product and saying WOW WE DID A GOOD JOB.

I'd love for someone to explain, in the last 2.5 years I've gotten 3 personal loans, the 3rd of which I'm still paying on, with a perfect payment history. The other 2 were paid in full before due date. My car just broke down, I don't have the funds to fix it or get a new car. I went to SCU to see about getting a new loan, enough to pay the remainder of my open loan and the rest to purchase a new car. I was denied because I've had to many loans in a short amount of time?! So it doesn't matter I've been perfect with paying them, it doesn't matter that I now have no way to make money so they won't get any payments from me for loan, they only care that it's been 3 times in 2.5 years?!

Got a vehicle financed through SCU roughly over a year ago, which is easily in the top 3 worst financial decisions on my part, (it's still a long list) also partly because of the dealership I used. The app is almost impossible to make transfers to, you won't spend any less than half an hour on hold if trying to make a payment by phone if you're lucky enough to be off of work to be able to make that call during their business hours. Their "convenience" fee is anything but, and last but not least their late fees and interest rates serve only to make things more difficult. And their customer service attitude leaves even more to be desired, especially in their collections department should you have a late payment. Courtney Pomer"low" as I like to call her seems to take pleasure in their constant attempt to make me homeless and the pillaging of my credit rating. That's as much as I can say here without being put on a watch list.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
