I had the pleasure recently of using XCEL to consolidate credit card debt that was sitting at 28% which is the norm now for credit cards. I dealt with Susan who was excellent and made the process really easy. The loan was done in one day! I also refinanced my car loan with XCEL back in July and saved over 120 a month on my payment Would definitely use them again in the future!

I recently applied for a personal loan and I had a great experience. Kevin Ochoa was my loan officer. He communicated with me every step of the way. I never had to worry about anything. At one point I sent him the wrong information and he immediately reached out to let me know. I would definitely recommend XCEL FCU to my friends and family. Thank you 🙏🏾

I've been banking with Xcel since 2010 and have financed three cars, several personal/home improvement loans and a credit card so far. I've always gotten good rates. The service is slower than .com banks and the big banks and credit unions. But the rates are lower and you aren't just a credit score. They talk with you and explain if you need to pay something off to get approved and they don't just send a dear john letter. They will even encourage you to take a lesser term and pay less interest if you can. Xcel is small and it will take them a day to process something. They aren't a sign and drive kinda place, but the rates are simply awesome. I'm sorry, but for me waiting 24-48 hours is worth saving a few thousand $ in interest.

Have been with them over 25 years. Since credit score although my pay and now pension deposited to them loans request always denied. Requested consolidation pay negativity on report, credit score increasing but this loan would help. Loan should be based on customer dedication. Could have changed banks but still here.

My experience with Mrs Christine GILCHRIST was the worse, the lady wouldn’t listen treated me as I was trying to scam my own account. I’m pretty sure I’m not the first to complain about this lady. Overall xcel credit union the establishment is AOK
