I have been a member for over 25 years. I have always had pleasant service, until today. I dealt with someone on the phone which I have never spoken to before. She was Rude.... I am truly thinking of moving my money to another banking institution after 25 years...

My husband and I have been members of this Credit Union 25+ years. The staff is very pleasant however, banking privacy was never in question until today. I called the office to gain access to virtual banking! Anna provided the last 4 digits of social security and home address, instead of asking me to verify the information to what she has on record. At that point I stopped her. This is privacy 101. You never know who is on the other end regardless of who I say that I am. This is a huge red flag for me and we question to keep this account.

I went here to open a account for an auto loan, I didn’t get approved so I wanted to ask some questions to apply for a another loan for a different car to see if I’d get approved but the lady who worked here was so rude I didn’t even care to ask the questions I just ended up closing the account not sure if she was having a bad day or what and everytime I went no matter if it was weekday or weekend afternoon or morning there was never a loan officer the other reviews are good so Maybe I caught them on there off days but hey I think first impressions are everything and that was not it!

I was at the branch today to handle an issue with my debit card. Ms. Charlene was very helpful in explaining what the issue may have been. I remembered that someone tried to reach out to me during work hours about a suspected fraud issue with my joint account, but I forgot to call them back when I was able to. I acknowledged my fault, and inquired what I should do to correct this. She asked a Hispanic coworker, who is always very curt and sarcastic in her responses. I try not to deal with her whenever I go because she has very poor customer service skills (in my opinion). She was of no assistance in my situation, nor did she seem to care where to direct me to for assistance. Ms. Charlene had my husband use his debit card outside to see if it would work (which it did ), and she told me to call the 888 number on the back to help me out. Everyone else is great there!!!

I have been looking to open up an account at a Credit Union and have met with a few in the area. MidState Federal Credit Union is going to get my business because of their great customer service and competitive rates. The manager at MidState was so helpful and answered all of my questions she spent over and hour with me!
