I have been a member since 1994 and never have i ever had an issue with this Credit Union. i since have moved to another state and still use this Credit union. Keep up the great work ladies

NOT a Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) branch!!! I saw "Naval" in the description but figured it was a typo. Nope! After driving out i saw a little sign in the window (see my pic) that said they are not affiliated with NFCU. UUUUUGH! 😀 I went inside anyhow and the gals were super nice, but there was absolutely nothing they could do to help me. Bummer. I should have called. They said to go to Colts Neck or Cherry Hill, both about 45 minutes from them. I clearly was not the first knucklehead to make this mistake. I hope you are reading this review BEFORE you replicate my mistake. But,hey! We did get to see the Hindenburg monument so the afternoon was not a total loss. And the (VERY SMALL) NEX and Commissary were a stone's throw from the Lakehurst NAVAL Federal Credit Union.

This is not a Navy Federal or an affiliate. This is a small financial institution catering to mostly the civilian and military on the base; however, they are open to others provided you have base access. They provide family type customer service, knowing you on a first name basis over a number like other places. I've been banking with them for over 12 years. They are attentive, kind and patient with their customers. All negative reviews are clearly because they have mistaken its affiliation. There is no credibility to anyone who says they are nothing but professional, hard working and cordial. Since they are a small credit union, their hours are limited to weekdays. Make no mistake, these employees and manager give their utmost best efforts to please all their customers. They have checking, savings, and loan options to members as well.

Google maps says it’s a navy federal. The side of the building says “Lakehurst Naval Federal Credit Union”. But when you go into the building it’s a totally different bank with no association with naval federal what’s so ever. Drove over an hour just for them to try to get me to leave my bank and join theirs. No thanks. This facility needs to change the sign. Very misleading indeed. Never doing business with these people!

I've been banking with LNFCU for over 8 years and I have never had an issue. Absolutely love the staff especially Valerie and Kathleen! Everyone complaining that this is not Navy Federal needs to actually read. There's a whole name in front of the Naval Federal CU part! It says LAKEHURST NAVAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION! Of course this isn't Navy Federal! Navy Federal is trash anyway!
