All my loans are from them. They treat you like their own family. I have been with them for close to 30 years. Angela and Janice are all top-notch. Love my credit union. They're the best!

FDU Credit Union is the best financial institution that I have worked with. Angela is very knowledgeable of the different loans they offer to help fit your needs and Janice is such a pleasure to see cause she always smiling and helpful. I feel like if I have any questions I can go to them and they will advised me the best way possible.

My experience with this credit union started off great, but it took a turn for the worse. They have an employee whom I worked with at the time thought it would be funny to blurt out my SSN not just to my face but in front of my coworkers as well. He even disclosed a loan that I applied for. Bad enough he did this to me, but he took a step further by doing this to another coworker of mine. Imagine my shock and anger in that moment. I went thru the proper channels to report this individual and even made a police report. You what they did, you guessed it, the CEO of the credit union personally calls me just to let me know that they will continue to EMPLOY this person however he will no longer be making loan application calls as if that will remedy my feelings of vulnerability and anger. She then proceeds to tell me about his mother who has been a longtime loan officer with the credit union, they feel that he’s worth saving. The nepotism is blatant and quite frankly it’s a slap in the face to me the “Valued Member”. For anyone reading the reviews, I hope you see this and save yourself from banking with this unprofessional and unethical credit union. Unfortunately for me, I am bound to this credit union until further notice. I am disgusted and angered by the actions of both the employee and superior involved. No one should have to second guess whether their information is secure with a Federal Credit Union. I would avoid this place for your own personal safety and security.

I’ve been a member of FDU credit union for years and am recently appalled at the lack of customer service. I retain a small savings account with them which is a requirement if a member plans to obtain a loan. I spoke with Angela who had a very nonchalant method of communicating about my concerns of numerous fees and my account lockage by stating “I don’t know what you want me to tell you, it’s up to the customer to monitor their account and contact us when charged a bad address fee”. FDUFCU has numerous forms of contact information and continuously fail to provide customer service. Unless they hire/train new staff, take your business elsewhere. Updated to address reply: As a small financial institution, customer service should drive your business. While understanding bad address fees are an unnecessary expense to both the institution and account holder - I don’t agree that it’s the most effective method to deal with this matter. It seems to be a quiet and manipulative way to retain the account and charge fees until the account is ultimately closed. Your team has the bandwidth to post the fees but not contact the account holder. Please explore alternative methods that show you care about your customers.
