Do not bank with this bank if you are looking to get a loan. I applied for a loan on 4/17 it took almost three weeks for Christina to look at my loan application. When I called a week later she told me that “I’ll get to it when I can.” There was no urgency or need to adhere to their turn around policy. She stated she received a lot of loan request and she hasn’t gotten to it yet. I called a week later 4/26, I was told that it was pay day they do not deal with any loans on Fridays. I gave it another week. 5/2 again I was met with a none concerning attitude however, she did state that she had pulled my credit report but haven’t had a chance to look at it and wasn’t sure when she would be able to. Called on 5/6 I was told Christina was in a meeting and was unavailable to speak with me. Out of frustration and feeling like I was purposely being pushed off. I asked for the bank’s manager. I was told to hold on, two seconds later my call was transferred. I thought I was being transferred to the manager but no, Christina had miraculously gotten out of her meeting and picked up the call. She says “Rachel, right? Yeah, you were denied.” As cold, unfriendly and dry as every other interaction. I asked “why,” my credit score is good, I only have 1 credit card which is current. I was at a loss. I then asked would I be getting this in writing? She stated “yeah you should have been gotten it.” How? Three days prior she stated she just pulled my credit report. I can not understand why I was denied if the decision was solely based on what I look like on paper and not what I look like in person.
