I love HEFCU credit union. I think it is the best. They always provide wonderful customer service. They make things so easy, explain all details so simply and are always so helpful. Having this service has been a life saver, with great opportunities for better options and discounts. They have gone above and beyond to assist with services they provide. Thank you HEFCU. You never disappoint. :)

This is my 3rd car loan from HEFCU in 25 years. Always a pleasure. Savings and life insurance too! Worked at RWJ in 2000 and have always used them.

I have had my account with HEFCU for 21 years. When I have to call, the reps are nice and I receive answers to my questions with professionalism. Now my debit card was set to expire on 4/30. I called approximately 3 weeks before, stating I had not received my card. I was informed I would have it before the end of the month, it was mailed. Well it's 4/30/24 and no card. I spoke with the rep and we agreed that I would wait a couple of more days because, 1. if she closed the account I would have to wait another seven days business days for another card to be sent or 2 stay positive, it my come in the mail 5 in the next couple of days. Staying positive, today is 5/2/24. I called, today informing the same rep, that I never got the card and asked if the card could be expedited to me. Keep in mind, I have been a customer for 21 years, with no fees. I was informed, by the rep, that I 1)would have to pay $50 to have a new card expedited, or 2) wait another 7 to 10 days, since it is the weekend, because they are certain they sent the card. So me being a customer, with no fees, for 21 years, being inconvenienced, means nothing. So much for customer satisfaction. I appreciate the promptness from administration to resolving my situation. Everything was reconciled by Monday. Thank you so much. That's customer service 👍🏼.

I have been a customer with HEFCU for the past 3 years and I am so disappointed to how I have been serviced these past two weeks. I received a new debit card to replace the one that was about to expire. However the new card I received had a bad CID number on the back of the new card which I called HEFCU on 3.4.24 to get a replacement card and here I am on 3.21.24 and still have not received my replacement card. I spoke with a member service rep on yesterday and today and asked for a new card to be sent and could I have it expedited I was told I would have to pay $80 for a replacement card to be expedited!! Did I mention I have been a HEFCU customer for more than 3 years maybe more and I have to pay $80 for a new debit card that was sent to me with an unreadable CID code? This is so not acceptable and I am very, very disappointed with the service I received as a long standing member/customer. Very dissatisfied customer, Lakeyshia S.

I've been a customer for years, and recently I've been having financial problems. I wish they were better at communicating with me for the past 2 years. I have had my credit card maxed out at close to 5000 dollars and they cancelled me without notice, and if I did not pay the bill, since I have automatic deposit from my pay check into their savings account, they have been taking that 200 dollars automatically without any written warning or notice. I really do not like their lack of communication. I used to recommend them to others but I would advise others to please put their money elsewhere.
