0 Star – Incompetent, Unhelpful, and Not Worth Your Time Raritan Bay FCU is an absolute joke of a financial institution. I have a 770 credit score, never missed a payment on my existing loan with them, and have proven myself to be a reliable borrower — yet they denied me for a new loan simply because of a short credit history. So apparently, making every payment on time and managing your finances responsibly doesn’t count for anything here. Their loan officer clearly isn’t qualified — if you can’t properly evaluate a solid applicant with a near-excellent credit score, you shouldn’t be in the business of approving loans. Seriously, find a new job. To make things worse, when I went to pay off my existing loan, they gave me the wrong payoff amount — I ended up overpaying by $550. And guess what? Because of their own policy, I now have to wait two weeks just to get my own money back. That’s right: I paid too much because of their mistake, and I’m the one left waiting. Between the denial for no good reason, the math errors, and the complete lack of urgency or accountability, this place is beyond unprofessional. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Go anywhere else. This place is a waste of time and energy.

I have banked with this credit union for over 20 years now and I would never go anywhere else. They were there only bank back then that would give me a loan to get my first car. I found them through a used car dealership and every transaction from them on has been easy as can be. Every time I drive up to the window they always know me before they even lol up my account which means a lot in a customer service environment. Any time I call with issues they are addressed immediately. Thank you for all the years of hard work and great service🫶

RBFCU has and will remain my Bank of choice. We moved to Delaware several years ago and I so glad that I choose to keep RBFCU as my primary Bank. That was proven to me once again with the helpful knowledgeable assist today from Chris. Yes, not only Chris today but the entire staff .

Got my debit card stolen in Vegas, 11/8/23. Called 11/9/23 to let them know, was told I'd be sent a new one within 2 weeks. After 2 weeks of not receiving my card, I decided to call. They said nothing was ever issued, and they don't mail cards, I have to go pick it up from the bank (which is 25 minutes from my house..) ok whatever, no problem.. I then get a email saying $10 was taken out of my account for "plastic" for the new card?? I was never even told I would have to pay, they literally just took $10 out of my account without telling me. When I go to pick up the card, the woman says "oh your card was stolen so you shouldn't have to pay" to which I replied , "they already took the money out of my account without telling me.." I get a response of "oh" . And that was it. I proceeded to tell her I had 3 other credit cards stolen, all of which were replaced, no charge, and sent to my house within 3 or 4 days. Still nothing. They wouldnt give me my $10 back. Horrible customer service here. Makes me want to switch banks.
