I would like to say that Jessica Jaramillo at the San Mateo branch was very knowledgeable, professional, and expeditious in her work with me today on my car loan. Her service was both professional and relaxing. And, although the bank was very busy at the time, she got me in and out of there very quickly. She explained everything I needed to know about making additional payments and making sure that they go to the principal on the loan. All in all, a great experience! Hats off to Jessica! Bob Scott.

Michael Lujan rocks! He was able to help me finalize a wire transfer which I started at a different branch early this morning. at 3:30 I'm happy to say he made it happen! ..and not by redirecting me so someone else! I appreciate his help and especially appreciate his willingness to work through the hard questions to make sure that the transaction is complete and accurate. This is the type of service I expect from my financial institution.

I came from the SFCU merger after being a member for almost a decade, and working with First Financial could not be more complicated. First, I came into this branch and spoke with the assistant branch manager Cristina Yerton and asked for a direct deposit form upon completion of the merger, which she agreed to, took my personal information down, and never followed up on. Then, payments made toward your credit card aren’t processed in a timely manner. At SFCU, payments toward the credit card were credited instantly, and with First Financial, things don’t go through on the weekends. They do warn about that, but even submitting around lunch time on Friday does not credit your account before the weekend, and even until Tuesday in my case last week. Third, the credit card account login is totally separate from the checking & savings login. Everything was on the same account with SFCU. The credit card rewards and paper check ordering sites have not worked with my account info, either. And those two have separate logins as well. It is 2025. The features here are a serious downgrade from SFCU. Also, I had a long-standing credit history with SFCU, and now my account is considered “closed” with a comment that it was transferred, which still doesn’t help. The only reason I was staying was so I wouldn’t have to close my account with long credit history.

New "ATMs" in lobby are a pain in the rear. I have been directed to them three times to deposit checks and each time there has been a problem. The individual assisting me must then log in, manually enter the checks that had a problem, and go around the corner for my receipt. Hire more tellers and provide customer service.

Outstanding service especially when I had my identity stolen. Jessica helped me and made everything so easy and she was so nice! Definitely recommend
