BE WARNED... when you open an account at Kirkland Credit Union they DON'T disclose to you that they will share your personal and contact information with their "partners" who will assault you with junk mail trying to sell you. Kirkland Credit Union doesn't give you the opportunity to OPT OUT because they generate revenue selling your information to their "partners". You won't know who Kirkland Credit Union gave your information to until the junk mail starts to arrive again and again and again. Kirkland Credit Union won't contact their "partners" to stop the junk mail and their "partners" have your information to do with as they please. We deposit money with financial institutions and get so little interest back that soon we will have to pay them to take our money but they will be happy to lend us our money back at a profit while selling our information for additional profit. Kirtland Credit Union compromises the privacy and security of its members without informing us that they did. You can't LIVE CONFIDENT when you don't control your personal information. You can't be confident in a company that sells you out.

New Gibson branch has Horrible customer service! I've been a customer for over 30 years and recently I had a unique banking need that I needed help with. I dealt with several different people during this process and all of them had an attitude like I was inconveniencing them. Ultimately I was not able to complete my transaction and at the end of the it all they blamed me as the reason.

Single handily the most frustrating financial institution I’ve dealt with. They give you next to no way to access your own money in a timely or reasonable manner when you do not have access to a debit card. “ Expedited shipping “is 3 days when I see no reason why there is the inability to overnight something especially if I am willing to pay for it. There’s no option for any instant transfer, no option for electronic checks, no option for getting your card digitally unlike everyone else offers, no option for knowing if there are any collaborating credit unions. If you’re out of state on or vacation and you lose your card or have it stolen, they leave you financially stranded, unable to access your own funds due to an inability and unwillingness to develop better systems for their customers. They’re sure as hell willing to have you deposit money anytime though, but good luck getting in out if you don’t have access to that stupid piece of plastic. I’ve had negative experience consolidating loans with this institution and inaccurately providing the correct amounts to fully close out the closed consolidated. There have been more than a number of communication breakdowns with them. I’m sure if you live in the area or you are close to an office it’s fine but they need to provide more options to help when something goes wrong and not just say “Well, SOL, sorry” !

Spent two weeks trying to get a hold of a mortgage specialist. Every time I called they said all mortgage specialist are busy and that one would call me back but none ever did. Only after I messaged their Facebook account with my frustration did someone finally got to me. Afterward the frustration only continued as the agent I got would constantly ignore me and only after continue frustration and having to message their Facebook account AGAIN did I got all the paperwork I need for the purchase of my new home. Either their mortgage branch is way understaff or they employ incompetent agents, either way its unacceptable. McDonalds has better customer service. Still waiting for an apology letter that they said they were going to send to me months ago. This bank use to be great but that was a long time ago.

This bank is ok, until it comes to the manager. Don't think it was this exact location, but I had a car loan when I moved out here. I was only late on like 2 payments, and she ended up shutting down my ability to make online payments so I would have to call her specifically to make payments on my car loan. I was calling to make payments anyway..... she was constantly sending me letters to pay and just was overall a negative vibe. Anyway, I actually loved working with this bank. They had an option where if you paid double one month you could skip the next months payment which really helped me if I knew I'd be short the next month I'd just go ahead and pay 2 months. Convenient, reliable except for the manager and whatever she was on, I recommend using them.
