Worst company I've ever worked with. Their loan officers don't know anything about their jobs, never return calls, and are impossible to work with. I can't tell if they're overworked and underpaid or just incompetent because I've been working with someone for 3 weeks trying to move forward on a Home Equity Loan and she has absolutely no idea how to do her job. I'm writing this review because the experience alone has left such a sour taste in my mouth, and while I wanted to go with a local credit union, we're probably going to go with a big corporation because at least they return calls and know what they're doing.

I filled out a survey on Sandia Wyoming location and recivied a call back from manager wanting to know why my survey comments were not high. Shouldn't these surveys be confidential. So don't fill them out.

This bank is the most useless branch out of all the branches they have, can’t even be bothered to help members out when they don’t have there account information to deposit checks

When applying for a car loan, they lied to me about the cost of the unemployment insurance. They told me it was included in the loan, my wife and I even had a discussion about it being free and they didn’t correct us. 4 months into the loan payments, I noticed a $50 charge on top of the loan. I went to a branch to figure out what charge this was and it literally took them an hour of waiting to tell me what the charge was. We asked for a refund since we were told it was free and said they’d call me back. I called 4 times and was told a manager would contact me and I still haven’t heard anything. Good news for us is we found out that refinancing with US Eagle was better since they have better rates, so I am actually saving more money than the amount that was scammed from us from Sandia Area. US Eagle have loan officers that actually know their stuff and made it quite easy to refinance. Update: someone reached out and rectified the problem. While it shouldn’t have taken this long, they eventually fixed it

I recently got a motorcycle loan from Sandia Area, and the experience was fantastic. I chose this bank primarily because of their competitive interest rates, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The staff were incredibly helpful and made the entire process smooth and straightforward. From start to finish, it was a seamless experience. Highly recommend Sandia Area for anyone looking for great rates and excellent service!
