Been with Broadview for YEARS. And now am a disabled parent , my income is so different than it once was . Today I spoke to a SUPERVISOR that was unwilling to help me settle a simple insufficient fee reversal. So incredibly disappointed. I definitely don’t have the same respect/outlook on Broadview I once did . Since capcom days I bragged about the bank in several states. Very disappointing, I don’t feel respected as a loyal customer. I’ve done nothing but be supportive to the business.

This and the Amsterdam credit union are fantastic! Two years ago I needed help from out of state creating an Estate account and ended up using them for a personal account after. Everyone that answers phones and assists me is always extremely nice and helpful. Recently, Anna (Albany) helped me and kudos to her, for her positive and kind attitude!

Terrible business banking experience. Their customer service is outsourced and can't communicate with their corporate office. Call center reps provide false information with policies in place and then promise the world, just for it to be untrue. Have had to track down leadership via linkedin to be able to get a solution in place... again. go elsewhere, not worth it. ALSO hate that they mix my personal account with my business account while at the window.

I brought a check to be deposited into my savings account from an account I closed with an investment company. The check clearly stated to pay to the order of myself, and had my daughter's name and that it had been a UTMA account because my daughter was a miner at the time. The drive through teller was stumped. She told me I had to open a UTMA account. I stated that I just closed the UTMA account and those are the funds to be deposited into my account. She stated "Im just doing my job" then she had the Assistant Manager look at the check. He said you have to put this in a UTMA account and we dont do that here. I explained the funds are from a UTMA Account that I closed and the check is what I was sent and I want to deposit it my account. The Assistant Manager was rude and not knowledgeable at all. I left went to Keybank and they deposited it into an account I have with them. Unbelievable the lack of education of the people Broadview hires!! I never had this issue with SEFCU. Uneducated and rude on top of it! The assistant manager at the Patroon Creek branch is rude and apparently lacks common sense.

I have been a customer with SEFCU/Broadview for more than two decades: I have a checking account with them, a savings account, and a credit line. I personally have never had even the slightest negative experience with them. Everything has been 100% above par. I did have a couple of instances where my checking account was compromised & unauthorized purchases were made. They rectified the situation & had the money back in my account within 24 hours. Their customer service department is excellent. 👍👍
