I can honestly say they are the best financial institution I’ve ever dealt with. Every interaction whether in person, over the phone, or online has been professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The staff goes above and beyond to make banking simple and stress-free. They take the time to explain things clearly, offer great advice, and make you feel like more than just an account number. I have been with Amherst FCU for about 5 years now, and I couldn't be happier! The employees/managers are incredibly friendly, personable, and helpful. I always know that if ever I have a concern, the people at AFCU will do everything they can to help. Additionally, the interest rates are some of the best I've seen (even amongst other credit unions in the area) and cannot be beat. The interest I pay on my credit card is a quarter of the interest I pay on credit cards from big financial institutions. Plus, they periodically have loan interest "sales" on a variety of different loans, which drops the interest rate even more. Credit Unions in general are fantastic, but AFCU sets the bar very high. No complaints at all, and I am very happy being a member!

Amherst FCU has been a delight to work with from my 2 checking accounts and savings account, my credit card, and now my Motorcycle loan. Im so glad I went with a local credit union over them predatory banks.

My experience with the Amherst Federal Credit Union is one I would do over again. They were very kind, welcoming, and patient with me! They made me aware of any discounts or deals that I could receive and explained everything I needed to know. I would definitely recommend this place.
