My wife and I have banked here for over 10 years, but this credit union does not seem to value its long-term members. Earlier this year, I tried to finance a $12k car with $9k down — denied. I’ve spent the past 6–7 months building my credit history from scratch: good score, low debt-to-income, perfect payment history. I applied for a small personal loan today — denied again. Their process is frustrating: they only list one line of employment history, so if you’ve changed jobs within the last two years, they don’t bother to update it or verify further. They claimed my “credit history length” was too short, but don’t consider the fact that my account history with them spans a decade. Credit unions are supposed to work for members, but this one feels no different than a big bank — they look only at your credit report and ignore the bigger picture. I’ve since opened an account elsewhere and the difference in service is night and day. If it wouldn’t hurt my credit history, I’d have closed my account here already. Edit to their response: Thanks for the reply. At this point, I have no interest in discussing it further. My experiences, both recent denials despite a decade of membership and solid financials, speak for themselves. I’ve already opened an account elsewhere where I’ve been treated far better. Hopefully future members will have a better experience than I did.

Been with CCU for almost 40 years now and could not be happier with their service and professionalism. So happy to be part of their banking services. Bret

They have my money but I can't spend it. Online services have been offline for hours and the "customer service" people are extremely rude and no help

Service is good, but the parking lot has an awful design. Confusing to get to the drive through.
