Worst financial institution i have ever dealt with. They are not tied into the major online banking so when I sent a payment from BOA a real bank they had to send it snail mail instead of electronically. Very inconvenient to say the least. Then you try and make a payment on their APP last month and it wouldn't let me came up with invalid request payload which they had no clue what that was. I Called and they said we will put in a help ticket but the app is provided by a third party and we cant do anything. I was finally able to schedule a payment the day before it was due. That was the last straw, I refinanced with a real financial institution and will never do business with a credit union again. Now my wife has the same problem and cant schedule a payment and they are giving her the same stupid excuse. Dont worry Great Meadow we will be taking her loan elsewhere very soon. They may have a low interest rate but their services are absolutely terrible. Oh yeah if you select biometric sign in on the app you actually have to select it everytime. Also when you go to schedule a tranfer it brings up the truck loan and asks where i want to transfer it too, dumb again. What am I going to transfer my loan to? I actually have to go in and switch it to savings transfer to the loan. Last but not least on the app they also have the option for principle only payment but they still charge you interest for that day. Pretty sure that is illegal, i am still contemplating going after them for that. Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere.

Taylor consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service. Recently, we encountered a situation with a “ lemon” regarding our Tahoe. We kept Taylor informed of the process, and she went above and beyond to assist us. When we informed her that we had received the offer letter from GM, she promptly advised us to apply for the loan by 4:51 pm. She subsequently called to confirm the approval and informed us that we could collect the check the following morning, as the dealership would be closing shortly. Taylor’s unwavering dedication and professionalism are truly commendable. Such exceptional service is rare in today’s business landscape. She not only secured our approval but also provided us with a favorable interest rate and a safe new Tahoe. We eagerly anticipate continuing our business with Great Meadow and, more importantly, maintaining our relationship with Taylor.

Does not deserve any stars. Don’t open a loan they don’t report it to the credit bureau so your debt to income ratio is off! And if you’re set up with automatic payments, they screw that up to they owed me over $700 and I can’t even tell you if they owed me any fees that they took overdraft fees I didn’t even bother checking. I had money in savings but aside for Bills when you transfer from savings to checking, it’s a three dollar charge. I was charged $35 charges times two. When I tried to fight it, they treated me like I was the problem. No apologies ever. When I chose to consolidate debt and take out a loan from a separate entity, they were so mean to the point that I got anxiety when I had to contact Great Meadow. Do not bank from these people when they make a mistake they do not acknowledge it. We finally went to another bank after five years of being with them they don’t take any of that into consideration they do not care if they have loyal customers all they care about is numbers The young woman in Fort Edward is so rude and snappy at one point I said you can stop giving me an attitude and she adjusted herself after I asked her what her name was. There’s a reason why this bank is not growing beware. If you’re looking for a good credit union Sunmark.

I opened my account shortly after they opened in Granville. It was the best thing I ever did. I had gone through a divorce, which ruined my credit big time, but with the help of Jaime Johnson she helped me reestablish my credit. It wasn’t a quick fix, but I listened & did what she told me to do & within a year a had established credit. They gave me a consolidation loan and a credit card. I have paid off all of my debt!!! Once close friends and family saw what they had done for me they closed out their accounts with their banks and reopened with Great Meadow! Also, I’ve never had a problem with customer service they all are very respectful and helpful. They get four stars from me!
