I called this morning as a business owner to inquire about the status of a check that one of this credit union’s members wrote to my business, which was returned for NSF. I spoke with Kiersten at 8:49 AM, who initially mistook me for the member. She did not ask any questions to verify my identity, but stated that the person who transferred me had already told her who I was and where I was calling from — major red flag! Kiersten then told me she could not verify anything about the member’s account or the returned check. When I explained that passing bad checks is illegal, she consulted with her supervisor and returned to the line to repeat that she was unable to provide any information, and that they would need to speak directly with the member. I suggested a three-way call with the member, to which she agreed but then admitted she had no way to initiate one. Another red flag. I ended the call, realizing there was no chance of getting a straightforward or professional response. To be clear, I wasn’t asking for confidential account details — only to confirm whether the check cleared, since their member insists it did, even though our bank returned it for NSF. Any reputable financial institution would be able to verify this basic information between businesses, but not this one. Absolutely unacceptable experience. Poor communication, unhelpful staff, and no regard for professionalism. I would never recommend doing business with this credit union, and based upon the number of negative reviews someone from this credit union may want to get on the ball.

I only use this credit union for a savings account for my emergency fund and tax refunds. Checking is at alternative. The interest rate is better here. 2x the interest than afcu where I have far more in savings Had to leave a review after seeing 2.3 avg... Beginnings is better than 2.3.

5 phone calls, 5 times I was told my lien release would be sent soon. Still have not received the lien release. Have done all my buisness with them for 10 years.

Worst customer service ever! Had a Question on bank withdrawals coming to them from another bank and lady there was so unprofessional and so not helpful that pretty much hung up on me.

Customer service is atrocious . Paying my car loan every month was awful . They make the simplest things take so long . Thank god I’m done with them forever .
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
