I had a terrible experience financing my vehicle through Radius Federal Credit Union. During my pregnancy, I experienced an unexpected medical emergency that left me on bed rest and unable to work. This was already an extremely difficult and vulnerable time, and unfortunately, the situation was made far worse by Tracy Thomas, a recovery specialist at the bank. Tracy was consistently rude and dismissive while I was on bed rest and showed no compassion or professionalism. She repeatedly misrepresented payoff information—when I requested a 10-day payoff, the figures provided were inflated in a way that created extreme negative equity, making it nearly impossible to resolve the loan responsibly. Despite me making payments, my vehicle was still repossessed, and excessive fees were added. When I requested a reasonable 30-day period to get back on track, that request was denied. Due to Tracy’s behavior, I escalated the issue to Vice President Lisa Hilton. After that, my account was reassigned to Michaela Roche, who was absolutely amazing. Michaela was professional, compassionate, and genuinely helpful. I resumed making payments under her guidance and felt supported for the first time during this process. However, Tracy later became vindictive and retaliatory, and my vehicle was repossessed again in October—without Michaela’s knowledge. That alone speaks volumes about the internal dysfunction and lack of accountability within this institution. I am grateful I was finally able to remove my vehicle from this bank. Thank God. I will never do business with Radius Federal Credit Union again, solely because of my experience with Tracy Thomas. I sincerely hope senior leadership reviews her conduct, as no customer—especially one facing a medical crisis—should be treated this way.

We had to close our account because we live in an area where Radius closed their office. Before Radius, we were customers of St John's Federal Credit Union. We were much happier with the customer service with St John's than we were at Radius. This branch is quite the opposite. Friendly customer service and beautiful location. If only we lived closer, but we live on the other side of the city.

I have been with Radius for 7 years. They have been quick to answer all my questions and always provided great service! Radius has fantastic employees! Tammy, the loan officer, helped my wife and I purchase a house. Tammy was so helpful and kind throughout the whole process (since it was our first time). She was always available to meet with me regarding any concerns I had. Even if she was busy, she would stop and make time to help me with my home purchase. Tammy was so thorough with the whole process and was always trying to get the best outcome to suit our financial needs. You really feel like family here. All of the tellers know you by name and care about you. Opening an account with Radius was one of the best financial decisions I have made.

They locked my Debit card and I could not use it because they have a system in place that has a score value between 0-1000. well stub hub is 965, so I purchase tickets and have a park add on and this triggered the system and locked my card . So luckily I still had myBuffalo Metro FCU card available because I tried to use my Radius card to pay for my parking it was declined. I used my Buffalo Metropolitan FCU card so I was able to pay for parking. Then during my lunch I went to Radius and the card was re-activated.. The Rep told me Wal Mart had high score too.. so after thinking about it if I make an on-line Wal Mart Purchase my card will be locked? So I will make purchases on line card declined then have to have it reactivated?? how stupid. Then I tried to add the debit card to Apple Pay, go through a long process of verifying all my information with the Indian Call Center Rep and then she tells me we no longer verify this for Radius and I said I go through this whole process and then you tell me you are no longer verifying for Radius this is stupid and makes no sense. And she said well you called us, I hung up because I was directed automatically through the process. I am closing my account with them. I was going to go in tomorrow and purchase a CD but now I need to look for a better Bank ..Buffalo Metropolitan I used because of the proximity to City Hall where I work but I had become dissatisfied with their staffing levels on Friday peak times, half hour to make a drive through deposit.. I am now going to research and look for a better Credit Union and now I have the bad customer service experience from my 2 prior Credit Union’s to draw on so I will now be able to ask better questions before I join a new credit union.
