I have two auto loans paid directly through a debit card, bi-weekly. Generally, these payments are made with a routing and account number, so I didn’t think much of it when I had to cancel the debit card due to fraud. Because I pay bi-weekly, I am months ahead on payments. SeaComm didn’t bother to let me know that my payments didn’t go through… for months…that’s 16 attempts. Instead, they waited until my loan was 10 days past due to mail me a letter. I received a letter one day before my payment would have impacted my credit. I logged on and quickly made the payments through a small account I keep with SeaComm. I then reached out during their working hours to correct the issue. The representative who assisted me applied my biweekly payments to ONE of my loans and not the other. Again, I received a letter stating my loan payment was late… I reached out and spoke with somebody who was incredibly helpful and corrected the error, but I asked for a letter stating that Seacomm had made an error and was told I would receive a call back from the person who made the error and that I would receive the letter I requested. I received neither. If rates were comparable to my current loans, I would refinance elsewhere.

My husband has been has been with Seacomm for 40 years in Massena. We retired and relocated to the sunshine state. We always kept our Seacomm account as our retirement account. Recently we had a fraud incident. It was handled by Samantha. She corrected the situation within very fast time and resolved issue. We appreciate that so much. We highly recommend Seacomm Credit union for your daily banking needs. And the kindness you only find in the North Country.Thank You so much. Gerald and Tonja Sharlow

We closed our mortgage account out with them in 2019. Instead of marking our account closed on our credit report, they’ve been marking us as 120+ days late for $3000- on a mortgage we don’t even have! We’ve called and been told they would mark it appropriately. We were dumb and believed them. Applied for a credit card at our new bank and were denied because of low credit. We check, and 7 months after we closed our mortgage, they’re STILL reporting it as open and unpaid.
