Superior customer service, I just wish fraud detection would call you as soon as they put a hold on your card-rather than you having to call them when it fails at the grocery store, scrambling before the bank closes. Edit: they did call, Verizon was just overzealous about blocking their number and not notifying me. Review changed to reflect new development.

This bank is awful to deal with on the phone. I called with 2 simple questions and just got talked over by Mary Ann Powers. She also seemed to think she was a financial advisor during our chat. Someone should remind her she’s a customer service rep and to focus on that instead. I’ve been with this place for 30 years and the customer service on the phone will get you no where. If they don’t answer don’t even bother leaving a message. Nobody is going to return your call. Can’t wait to open an account elsewhere

The worst wait time for customer service. Bank hours for Saturday is at 9:00am . I called at 9:18 and was already the tenth caller. I chose the option for a call back and never received that phone call . Mind you the message states rather than wait on hold we can call you back when it’s your turn. So an hour passed and now I am calling back and I am number 44 in Que. word of advice stay on hold they will not call you back . Poor customer service

A woefully behind the times & sloppy bank. They failed to update my address & sent my debit card to my old address. This has resulted with me no way to get access to my own money thanks to their staff incompetence. They are untimely & unhelpful. GPO recommends using personal checks as a back up. Fewer & fewer businesses take them anymore. A reliable & trustworthy bank would know this. GPO FCU does not. It is 2024 & GPO's technology peaked in 1994. Given how quickly financial technology moves, you will find that keeping your money with GPO puts you at a disadvantage. GPO is not Apple Pay or tap pay friendly.

I have had a very good experience to date with GPO. The staff is always willing to help with any questions that you might have. I have had 2 loans with these folks and they made the process easy as possible. The inside of the credit union was clean and well laid out. The outside has plenty of parking, well landscaped and wheelchair accessible.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
