I've been a member of Great Erie Federal Credit Union for a while now, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service, for both banking and loans. The staff is always friendly, professional, and truly willing to help. Their personal touch and commitment to the community really set them apart from bigger banks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, local, full service financial partner!

I recently had the pleasure of attending Great Erie FCU's annual meeting and was genuinely impressed by their ongoing commitment to their members and the services they offer. I highly recommend considering a switch to Great Erie FCU to experience the unique banking culture they provide. It's like being part of a private club! Most importantly, their staff truly cares for our community. Thank you, Bill Solak, for providing an excellent financial consultation.

Very nice staff, nice bright interior, just be careful, the entrance-only driveway is to the left of the building, and the exit-only is to the right. I accidentally went in the wrong way.

Been with Great Erie for over 15 years. Starting to wonder why I am even bothering with this credit union anymore. Whenever I went there for advice or loans or looking for a home, nobody wanted to help. Why? Because I don't have tens of thousands of dollars in my account. I live paycheck to paycheck, and it just seems these credit unions cater more to people with more money. Once I pay off my loan through Great Erie, I will be leaving. They shut your account and cards off without warning. Their app and website are constantly down. It's just not worth it to me anymore.

My husband tried opening an account here but it was like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phone/call us back. And not being able to open accounts on Saturdays is wild, yall are open 9-5 months-Friday, we have to take PTO now to open a bank account?? There’s like 100 other credit unions in the area, i would stick with a different one
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
