I worked with Andre to get a Home Equity Loan. He was capable, polite, quick, efficient, and thorough. His communication during and even after the process was exceptionally good, and I cannot recommend Andre and Palisades Credit Union in Nanuet enough.

I went to Palisades Federal credit union for the first time here in Nanuet New York we were served by a great man named Andre He was very kind and helpful and explained everything very well I highly recommend this bank/credit union they are very nice in Inside the branch as well !!! Opened a savings account 5 stars Update January 2, 2026 I opened up my checking account with this credit union and it has been a amazing experience all of the branch staff are amazing at what they do They definitely blow any mega bank out of the water Especially at the Nanuet Location Which is the closest Branch to me Andre and his team are amazing at What they do Like I said before I highly recommend Anyone in Rockland County to bank with this credit union 100% worth it

I have had no issues with Palisades Federal Credit Union. I've worked with Andre and he went above and beyond to help me get my HELOC. There were a few hiccups but Andre was always on top of it and helped me every step of the way. Can't say enough about him and his work ethic. He is a great asset to the team.

Similarly to others that have posted a review, I had come in to discuss getting a loan with a representative and made it abundantly clear that I was not coming in to actually apply for the loan but to get more information. The representative assured me that he would not continue with the application process or do a hard pull on my credit but said he needed personal details in order to give me more accurate information. I left Palisades Federal Credit Union that day knowing that in no uncertain terms I had said I was not proceeding with the loan application at that time and that I did not want a hard pull on my credit, and yet I received a notification some time later that I was denied a loan with them. I went to the Palisades Credit Union to resolve the matter, neither the branch manager nor the representative acknowledged any wrongdoing, and when further confronted the representative said to my face "Why else would you come in and give me your information if you didn't want me to put it through?" Well, the only reason you had my information in the first place was because you said it was necessary even after you understood I didn't want a hard pull and only more information!! Palisades Federal Credit Union is completely unprofessional, and in my opinion, borderline fraudulent. If they cannot be trusted with something as simple as a request to not complete an application how can they be trusted with your money? What other liberties are they taking when it comes to your personal information? How many of the unsuspecting or financially naive have they taken advantage of? To put the icing on the cake, after hounding the representative they finally conceded and said they would take the steps necessary to remove the inquiry from my report. Two years later and it is still on there.

Amazing, I tried to financed a car and because Rockland Hyundai messed my life up and finances by selling me a frame damaged car when I tried to get a new loan every bank was offering me a 10% interest rate. This credit union did all the paperwork and approved me with a 3.49% interest rate. All of that without ever stepping a foot in the door. My first time inside the building was just to pickup my check. I will use them every time from now on. Thanks Matthew you were great.
