I have been with esl since I moved to Rochester 16 years ago... but in the past year, the service has gone to $hit... a month ago a had a lost card I wanted to report... hour on hold till I hung up.. thought it was a one off. In the past two days I have tried to call my bank to assist in a transaction to buy a car out of state... twice on hold for over an hour.... chat person want much help... Guess I am not getting my car or doing future business with you all... why even have a phone system.... you can't even call your local branch.. what a joke. I'm reaching out to the BB. See if you return my call now

Currently thinking about taking my money out of this bank and going with a different company. Every single time I am trying to either run errands or pay a bill, With NO WARNING AT ALL, I am declined permissions to send money out to pay bills. It has been an inconvenience for me for a few years, I have been baking with ESL for almost a decade. Servers are always down when it’s most crucial that I have access to my funds. I am absolutely tired of being inconvenienced when it comes to accessing my money that I HAVE WORKED FOR! It’s completely unprofessional and untrustworthy! You have no right to revoke my access to my hard earned finances when all I’m trying to do is survive and get things done. Not to mention it always happens at the most inconvenient times or when all branches are closed. So I’ll have to wait to speak with someone? I have no access to my zell, or cash app when I currently use those to send money in order to get certain bills paid. At least have the decency to first CONTACT someone before putting their life on halt because the company wants to claim everything is for security purposes. I am extremely angry and now have to jump through hoops to do something that could’ve saved me so much time and effort. Over the years I learned that this banking system is not worth it, it is unreliable, as well as faulty and unpredictable. I will be investing my time and finances with someone else as long as this continues.

I had the time to do a review as I’m going on 45 minutes on hold. ESL used to be amazing and that’s why I stayed with them for 4 years after I left New York. I’m done, I can’t even get the info that was to be sent in24-48 hours 4 days later. ESL YOU CAN DO BETTER

Has been my bank for the last 6 years. Never had a problem with ESL. And because they're so courteous there I probably will never change banks.

Don't get a car loan with them. First time they didn't take my last payment (I paid it off 16 months early) 2nd time I wired that payment, it took 47 days, 6 phone calls, three emails a multiple chats to get my lein release statement. Custoner is zilch, they respond in an email stating you didn't provide enough security info e even though you filled out the form. Unprofessional, irresponsible, just terrible company. George Eastman would be ashamed and highly disappointed his name is attached.
