I have been banking with the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union since I was kid. My very first bank account was opened here, as well as my first credit card. UFCU has a special place in my heart. I love this place, the community, and the personalized service. I know most of the staff, and they know me by name. The quality of service and the rates are quite good, but sometimes speed of service is lacking. Being a smaller credit union, the UFCU also doesn't offer as many credit products or have the same high limits as other larger financial institutions. This has slowly led me to move my money elsewhere. I still come here on occasion to deposit a check or two, but only having one to two tellers at the desk makes things slow. My transactions are usually very quick: cash deposit, cash withdrawal, or check deposit. Two minutes and I'm out. Waiting 20+ minutes to make a two-minute transaction is a little bit ridiculous. This has happened on multiple occasions. One time I just ended up leaving and coming back later. If you're Ukrainian, having an account here is pretty much a must. Despite the drawbacks, I still love this community and the culture behind our credit union. Great community. Personalized service. Perfect for Ukrainians. Could work on the speed.

Always very prompt to solve and resolve any issues that come up. Recently i had a charge on my credit card that was not correct and I contacted Christine T at the branch and she quickly helped me with my issue and was very kind and professional in doing so. Her knowledge and experience are very helpful and put me at ease knowing my finances were secure and that my issue was resolved. Thank you.

By far the very best banking institution in Rochester. The ethnic background of all of the staff lends itself to being friendly and kind no matter what is going on. Staff is helpful, and will go far and away more than any other bank ever thought about doing. They treat you like someone special no matter your financial background. Roman, the bank manager, knows people by name who bank with them. They will help at all costs. If all banks were like this credit union, people would not hate them! Thank you for your service to myself and my family.

Today I was having trouble downloading payoff statements for our mortgage. I called and thank goodness Natalia picked up the phone. She had all the answers. She was patient, professional, and thanks to her we will have all we need sent directly to our email. Thank you!

If you haven't already divested from big banks, you should. I've been a member of Rochester Ukrainian Federal Credit Union for a few years and am very happy. Great personal service. I highly recommend!
