I deposited a $4,500 certified settlement check after confirming with U.S. Alliance that there would be no long hold. I was told they “manually verify checks,” and that my funds would clear in two days. I documented every step of this process — the phone calls, branch visit, names, and times — to make sure there was no confusion. I received $275 the next day, but then they suddenly placed a 7-day hold on the rest until October 29, 2025, directly contradicting what both the representative and branch staff promised. I even sent proof that it was a certified check from one of the largest banks in the world, but they refused to verify it. When I escalated the issue, they didn’t fix it — instead, they restricted my online account access. My account only had a few dollars, and there was no fraud or suspicious activity. Their compliance team said it could take “3–5 business days” to review, which just matched the hold date and made the escalation meaningless. I’ve documented every single step of this experience. This is not how a financial institution should treat a new customer. You ask for help, and instead of helping you or verifying the funds, they restrict your account and spin you in circles without feedback or urgency. Once my funds are finally released, I will be closing my account permanently. I would strongly caution anyone considering U.S. Alliance to avoid banking here if you expect honesty, accountability, or professionalism.

We were “transferred” to US Alliance when Marriott Credit Union sold assets to them. The transition took months and was horrific. I rarely use this credit card. I sent a full payment on time to 411 Theodore Fremd Ave, Rye NY. I sent payments to this same address three times in 2024 as well and all those payments for the US Alliance Visa card were credited to our credit card for full payment vis our bank’s bill pay. A recent payment in July 2025 was returned by US Alliance .The address was correct. Do not use them. Thankfully, our bank is crediting the returned payment to us. It took weeks and several calls to get the US Alliance fees credited. I had to finally use a third-party payer to get the funds credited to our credit card. We will never use them for any transactions.

Joke of a bank. They denied me opening a CD for no apparent reason at all.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with Us Alliance's handling of my identity theft issue. They're asking for more documents after I've already provided everything requested.as this issue has been going on since Oct 2024 and my complaints are unheard I’m going public until issues is fixed.. the other credit unions had no problem closing the other fraudulent accounts but US ALLIANCE is continuing to make my credit suffer by not moving forward

I have deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with US ALLIANCE. I was shocked to discover that I was charged a fee of $45 for my deceased mother's account, which had my name listed on it, that I never accessed. They refused to waive the fee despite being supplied all the necessary paperwork when someone is deceased. They literally called me immediately after her death regarding the $45! Seriously! Meanwhile my mother was a customer of theirs for what had to be over 30 years.
