Steer clear of Salt city FCU. Megan, who I believe is a manager is horrible, wouldn’t even talk to me when I went in her office to open up accounts. I’ve had two issues where I’ve used their app to deposit checks by Phone. The first time it didnt go through, but they never told me or emailed me. I finally looked for it and found out that it was turned away because it was not legible. I took it into the credit union and they said it was perfectly legible and then they changed their mind and said I didn’t write the proper Information on the back. I turned the check over and all info was there. Last week, I deposited three checks. I only got an email on one, saying it was received and then saying it was approved. It takes about two days for them to go through so after six days I called Back and got Megan. She argued with me like crazy and swore at me, statingThat the checks weren’t legible. I said why was I not informed she said I was I received emails. Turns out the emails are from an unknown address But when I looked it up, I had no emails from that address. I have two overdrafts because of this! I was yelled at, interrupted, ignored, Sworn at and hung up on my Megan, her boss nick, And the woman who is responsible for online Banking. I am now also behind on my car payment! I need this money, it’s mine! DON’T DO IT! — After writing this, I was told to bring the checks in to be cashed. They were fully endorsed to this credit union. When I got there, they refused to cash them. No reason, just wouldn’t do it. I was at a drive-through - they sent the checks back to me, But the window that held the tube with the checks would not open. I pushed the call button, but it went ignored. Megan kept walking by me, smiling, but would not make eye contact. I hit send to give them back the tube to take my checks out and give them to me at the door. They kept sending the tube back. I tried five or six times. I am severely disabled, but I managed to get to the front door to go in for my checks. They locked the door. I was not going to leave my checks there for someone else to come and take them and cash them. Finally, a man came out with the checks. He was extremely rude to me. I told him to grow up as I walked away and he started bragging about how he must be an adult, due to the many children he’s created. They’re disgusting. They break laws. They refused to cash my checks, even though I am a member And then they stole the checks, making it impossible for me to cash them someplace else. They should be closed down.

This bank is so trash. I opened up a account a few months ago. When I opened up the account, I had Courtesy which was $500. So after a few months, I got a large sum Of money transferred over to this bank. I let my money sit in the bank for months. I got frustrated because this bank don’t open on Saturdays and half of the time their ATM system is down. So after a few months, I decided to take out all of my money. I told them I did not want to close the account. Because I still use this account for certain bank, transfers. They refuse to give me all of my money out of the account. Told me I had to request it and wait a few days. Once I did receive my money I feel like they got upset and turned off my courtesy pay. I just feel like that was kinda Strange, I don’t recommend this bank at all. I try to call the supervisor and ask what was the reason and they gave me the runaround told me they will call me back several times and never did.

My first experience with this credit Union. I have two auto loans. Never received any information from Salt City about where to pay, how, or even an account number. The day the loans were due I received a phone call. My first contact. It’s been over two months since I purchased my vehicles and I have yet to receive any information about my loans. I would never do business here again.

Great experience with a knowledgeable and professional staff. Highly recommend their auto loans and student loan refinancing programs.

I have been with this bank for 6 years. I have had my card number stolen twice and both times the bank was on top of it. Nothing slips by this bank and their customer service in incredible. Despite the fact that i have several banks within 5 minutes from me and it takes an hour to get to this one I will never switch. They are amazing.
