Close your empower accounts ASAP. They are charging you money every month without your knowledge. Plus they can’t do anything over the phone. So if you cant get into the branch they just keep charging fees. Imagine if you’re disabled! Once I paid off my car loan with them they started treating me very unfairly. Not to mention the bank does absolutely nothing with your accounts over the weekend. Not even atm withdrawals. Waits till Monday and bam hits your account with everything all at once. So many better banks out there. Leave these bums now!!!

I just relocated back to Syracuse, New York, I had to get new banking because Navy Federal had no branches near immediately walking into empower Federal credit union they made me feel welcoming help me with everything that I needed it. & Made sure it was completed. I must say, even after Ms Jewel was phenomenal and make sure that everything was correct with all my financial situations which boy I tell you where it was a lot She went further to call in an co worker Mrs. Carissa to exceed expectation and I am very happy well, that is understatement. I am most certainly going to continue to visit this branch.

My mother is 91 years old and barely leaves her apartment, so she had a $30 check from the state of New York and she asked me if I would take it and cash it for her, she made it payable to me, I'm her son. The bank told me they do not cash third party checks, I said third party? It's a check for my mom that she made payable to me so that I could cash it for her. They told me they're unable to accept that check . so I explained to the lady, I guess I'll have to drag my 91-year-old mother with her walker to come to the bank for a $30 check. I let them know my dissatisfaction and I withdrew most of my account to put in a different Credit Union / Bank , as I will consider closing my banking with them. If they can't handle the little things, how are they going to handle the big things with my banking? Totally disappointed.

We have been banking with empower for 10 yrs normally we have no issues.. but the past two weeks we feel we been harassed by one of the workers tim and we are not happy we will b yalking with management next week... Cause we came so late today we didnt make a big deal but i dont like the feel of harassment..

Terrible! Make sure you don’t go there with time constraints! Everytime I’ve gone there the line is to the door. Now knowing it’s that busy you’d think they would staff accordingly.
