I’ve been a Fort Bragg FCU member for years, and I’m writing this after repeated negative experiences, not just one bad day. As a military family currently out of state, I rely heavily on phone support, and unfortunately the call center has been consistently difficult to deal with. Each time I call, I’m met with a tone that feels impatient and dismissive. Simple requests, like asking for my loan payoff amount, are treated like an inconvenience. Instead of getting clear, professional help, I often feel rushed, talked down to, and left more frustrated than when I called. Customer service should make things easier, especially for members who can’t walk into a branch, but my experience has been the opposite. After finally paying off my loan, I’ve decided to move my banking elsewhere. There is no turning back for this credit union it’s dedication to members just declines.

Tbh they should’ve kept the old building with the old workers . After multiple bad experiences with this bank they need to go back to another revamp. For instance they’ll use an expired id if you need to rectify your account and gladly take your money but won’t use the same “expired” id to let you get physical card yeah I’m surprised my husband didn’t crash out on everyone in there because clearly they like to play silly games and want to win silly prizes

I was reading the reviews before going into Fort liberty credit union and the reviews were very bad, I don't do alot of these but I dont know who is posting the negative reviews on this bank but I walked in the bank is very nice its super clean every person that I came in contact with was very helpful and absolutely nice not one person was negative or had a bad attitude. So for my experience and what I observed and took in was great my teller was very personable greeted me with a smile it was a very nice and pleasant and I will go back to this bank. 5⭐️

This is a terrible place to bank with and I do not recommend banking with them. There were only two good tellers that I worked with that was there in the area, other than that, it was a headache to deal with this bank being out of state when I really needed something. They charge crazy fees just to have a bank account with them, which shouldn’t be done to anyone period. Their hours of operation for their call center is very limited, which is inconvenient when you have something serious that you need to handle, especially on the weekends. Some of their actual banks are short staffed, which is another inconvenience. I recommend banking elsewhere.

This isn't at all the credit union it used to be. They take advantage of their long-standing customers. Just look at their reviews. It says it all... I think they have one of the lowest reviews in town. In a time where people are hurting they are finding new ways to nickel, dime, and fine you to death.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
