Twice now. your ATM machines, one by MHC Walmart and the one by Bojangels in Newport has taken my deposit and stated that “there’s an issue at this time, your cash will be retained. Please contact a branch.” That first one was Nov 25 th and I’m still waiting to see if the “provisional” loan will be rescinded or not. You say you need to send someone out to check the bin. Yet you fixed it and loaded it? No receipt showing the dollar amount I loaded into either machines! This second time, Dec. 26th was the same issue. They say they'll investigate it and get back to me. I feel as if I’m on some Punked show!

Totally incompetent when it comes to sending wire transfers. The first few times they would call before denying my wire application and now they just deny it even though they are making the same mistakes and after calling them and they say that it won’t happen again, they still mess it up. Part of the problem is that they keep rotating people in and out so everyone is clueless. Whoever is in charge needs to fired.

MFCU biggest cons is the policies themselves I have never known any financial institution that charges to do an external ACH transfer to your own accounts before! $5.00 That's mad! They've come a long way with their back office and Mobile Banking functions But man.... there really gonna charge for an ACH transfer .... wow just wow

I’ve been banking with marine federal credit union for 4 years and I’ll say that it’s been nothing but politeness, and always a happy smile when dealing with the teller

This is a terrible financial institution. I’ve had nothing but problems from them since day 1. What really pushed me to change financial institutions was when they stole money out of my account. I had just changed careers and specified I was tight on funds. I had informed them that I was inquiring about refinancing a vehicle loan with them to get all my finances under one roof. They asked me if so and so was my spouse because there was a negative unpaid balance on her account. I had told them she was, and I’d speak with her about that. They had informed me that it may cause issues processing my loan. I had stated that’s fine, but let’s see first if you guys could offer me a better rate. The next morning, when I had checked my account, they had taken her negative balance from my checking account. When contacted, they refused to reimburse the fees. I was told she’s your spouse and your money is her money. I had reached out multiple times about enrolling in the MRAP program to avoid my account going to collections. I had asked if they would please remove the overdrafted feeds associated with the transaction I did not authorize so I could afford the monthly payments. They denied removing the fees and demanded that the money be refunded immediately. Now I’m being told I can no longer make payments on my secure credit card or loan because I cannot have access to my account. I will be informing all my customers and close friends of how terrible they are. I’ll also be contacting military instillation Camp Lejune, NC, that they are a scam and requesting for them to be listed on the blacklisted forums.
