I’ve never had an issue with State Employees Credit Union for the last 10+ years, until today. I reported fraud on my debit card 12/18/2025, over $500. I have disputed it twice with sufficient evidence to support my claim and was told by Savannah, “ the merchant is being stubborn, there is nothing else we can do, reach out to the better business bureau or law enforcement”. Come again.. I provided evidence and there’s “nothing” you can do to return my funds, or escalate this issue State Employees? This is unacceptable. This was a large amount. State Employees is not for their members as evidence by prior reviews. Please provide with the executive chief of the company email address or phone number. Thank you

Really disappointed by the service of this bank, their new AI system is terrible and bad for the environment and whom ever designed it did a terrible job. Their agents clearly don’t want to work there. The fact that you guys want me to pay $15 to expedite a card that will arrive in 2 days? Other banks can make their cards in the bank or ship it less than 2 days and I don’t have to pay. I will be banking with another bank and telling others to never bank with this terrible bank. So disappointed after being recommended this bank.

One of the worst experiences we have ever had with a bank institution. The customer service line from SECU called multiple times about fraudulent charges. A day later we have multiple loans taken out and $1000 missing from our checking account. SECU was of zero help with this situation and did not protect our money from fraud. Our case was dismissed very quickly as if we were not worth the trouble and it was our fault that an SECU employee stole money from us. This business cannot admit when they have a criminal employee working in customer service calling people like this. This was not the typical scam, this was an employee that stole money from us, and then in turn SECU would not reimburse us like the banking institution is supposed to do to protect their customers. I have 2 toddler children and a stay at home mother to provide for, $1000 and ruining credit by taking out loans is not something I can sweep under the rug. Short of a law suit or getting police involved how am I supposed to get someone to take me serious on this?

Horrible Customer service, Deposited $1460 on the 4th of November into a SECU Cashpoints atm and it are my money,Filed a complaint and a dispute and it's been over 10 days,They managed to return only $1200 but I'm still waiting on $260 to be returned,Ten business days has nothing to do with me,The atm is operational and someone has been to it to repair it but they're still dragging me around,This money was for my mortgage and they wanted to still charge me a late fee after I notified them that the monies deposited were for my mortgage,I'm going to refinance my house with another lender and I will not use this bank anymore

All of my interactions with staff at this branch have been amazing!! And even the ATM is convenient. Back in Oct/Nov I was interested in getting information on a SECU HELOC. I called intially to find out how to make an appointment in the person I spoke with was extremely friendly and got me on the calendar in a few minutes. I met with Billy Utter (Mortgage Loan Specialist) in November and he put me at ease about the entire process, he spent time explaining what was necessary, and then after I left and realized I had a few other questions he quickly responded to my follow-up emails. I waited until February when I was sure I wanted to move forward, and reached out to Billy again via email and the process was so easy and moved so quickly. I officially applied in March was approved and within two and a half weeks I was able to close on my HELOC. I've honestly been shocked at how convenient and non-stressful this was, and it's all due to the staff I was able to work with. Billy was absolutely amazing! And I now have a great weight off of my shoulders relating to finances. Thank you sooooo soooo much!! Highly recommend!
