I tell friends and family not to bank here. Theyve never once treated me like a valued anything. Theyve never had my back on a bad transaction and i would never come to them for a loan or money. And tranfers always take forever

I've had CCU for almost 10 years now. They've been great. A great change from Wells Fargo. Their local service bankers treat you right. I recently needed some clarification on some charges for accounting purposes. Ashley on the phone was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Whitney has also been a blessing. Keep up the good work.

I have had good customer service when I've interacted with them. One teller even gave me a helpful hint to save money. Free ATM withdrawal is particularly nice, they refund any fees you are charged from using an ATM anywhere in the world. The 3 star review is due to their complete disregard of a reported incidence of fraudulent charges by a major corporation. I reported to the bank the fraudulent monthly charges, they could only go back 3 months for a refund, and was told it would be investigated. Months later, still no word or refund. They also charge their account holders unnecessary fees where they can, such as getting a cashier's check. -UPDATE- This review should have been updated years ago, and I hate that it was left up without explaining the resolution. CCU reached out immediately when I posted my 3 star rating above to help make things right. Needless to say, I was satisfied and am a loyal member 5 years after opening my account. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

DO NOT get your mortgage through this bank. When we bought our first home we dealt with Scott Bullinger. There were a number of last minute issues and our closing was pushed back multiple times. I would have given him the benefit of the doubt, but now we're selling the same home. The buyers are going through CAPCU and dealing with Scott Bullinger. Wonder of wonders there's been nothing but last minute problems--the first time Scott was out of the office and couldn't be contacted (fine, everyone deserves a vacation) but didn't have any information on who could be contacted or anyone covering for him. Our house closing was then pushed back an additional two weeks. During this time period he has worked at a snails pace in getting the necessary paperwork filed. Our buyers' lease is up soon and we've had to pay another house payment for a house we've moved out of on top of paying for our new home. Between the first time we had to deal with him and now he's literally cost of thousands of dollars. Multiple people's lives are on hold and there's no sense of urgency on his part to get this taken care of. I will ever recommend this bank or this person to handle anyone's home or finances. The customer service (and I use that term loosely) is appalling. I get it, it's not his home, not his money, not his time, so what does he care. Seven years and he hasn't improved on his job. Let's hope he finds another job where time and deadlines aren't important.

This is the worst credit union and the worst bank I have ever had the unpleasantness of dealing with. However Kayla is amazing and really went out of her way to assist me. I appreciate her and I think capital credit union would benefit following her lead instead of whatever training you currently have in place. And if your tellers are going to suck and have absolutely no customer service skills because they have to work on the weekend.. maybe you should revisit that as well because it had a huge overwhelming effect on my life. Which you don’t care about because you are not customer minded.
