Have been with this cu for abt 6yrs nw! Bt just recently, I hd sum difficulties trying to set up my Zelle to another cu & called countless times to Universal 1 member services & No one could “help” me set up my Zelle! Not even 1 of the tellers on the (inside) @ the 1River location could help me set up my Zelle! It came dwn to me asking 1 of my daughters to help me & somehow she “knew” exactly what to do! Because the Whole member service team was Inexperienced! And so was the “teller” inside the branch! SMH! This “Branch” seems to be Very Inexperienced with helping their members set up Zelle!🤷🏼♀️

I know this is the main office page, but this review is for your Vandalia office. I just had your manager at this office refused a twelve hundred dollar credit card payment.Because my savings account was in the rears by minus ten dollars. The only reason the savings account is in the rears is because of the service fees that that branch charges. I've never used that account nor have I ever taken money out. She refused my check because of that saying that was in the rears. It's unbelievable to me. She needs to be fired. As soon as I get my new card from PNC I will be closing this account after nearly 20 years of having it open. I can only assume that if they were making 50 to a $100 off of me every month from interest that this would not be an issue. I also guess they're trying to get me to help pay for upgrade they just did. Totally unacceptable behavior.

I am very thankful for Karen Gray my Loan Office and friend and a encourager. I appreciated Karen help through our process of purchasing our first House. She helps to make sure everything is correct. I have enjoyed Karen working with me. She is a hard worker, and I love her character! She is such a beautiful person; I will never forget Karen working with us to purchase our first House.

Karen Gray was a great help in buying my first home. The process was made easy by Karen as she promptly resolved all questions and issues. I am happy to have used Universal 1 as my lender.

My parents and I went with Universal 1 for a mortgage loan. As a first-time homeowner/buyer, I had no idea what I was doing. Karen Gray who was our loan officer, is a saint !!!! She is EXTREMELY kind, sweet, and was patient with me and my parents( who lived in another state) through the entire process. She was there at all hours of the day to answer any and all questions that we had. She explained every single thing in detail to me, because again, this was my first time. Couldn't have asked for a better loan officer! Thank you Karen for making this whole loan process easy and painless !!
