I had my car loan through Aurgroup. My credit was less than perfect at the time. I was struggling to find someone who would provide a loan to me. I explained what had happened and she listened and took everything into consideration and gave me a chance. I wasn't just a number to her. She made me feel like a real person who needed help. I never once paid my loan late. I will forever be grateful for how kindly I was treated at Aurgroup. Highly recommend.

I went there to get help with my deceased husband mortgage and have it transferred over, Mrs Peter was Awesome and helped me throughout the whole process, she used empathy and said if anything else in the future, just to reach out..I couldn't believe how easy and quickly it was handled.

I want you to know you have an exceptional employee, Linda Standsberry in your Customer Consultant Group. Her calm, patient manner and knowledge was a great help to me. I would like to thank her personally and let Aur Group know they have an outstanding employee who cares and goes beyond customer service. Such professionalism is rare now a days. Thank you again Linda for all your help with the guardianship and estate for my aunt. L. Bruce Keith

Very inefficient and unprofessional customer service. Staff cannot stop paper statements that you ask them to stop at the Holden Avenue branch; they do charge you $5 a month for them, but they'll send you online to do what you asked when you are in their branch. Customer service FAIL. Also, lame and fee driven BS. Additionally, a staff member sent my son away to "get another check in the same color ink" because the elderly couple he did manual labor for (Camden, Ohio) wrote his name in blue ink and the rest of the check in black ink. The AurGroup employee; older man (wears glasses) working the far left counter at the Holden Avenue branch, wouldn't cash my son's $50 check this morning. He told my son he'd have to drive back to Camden to get another $50 check because the one he presented could be fraudulent. Customer service FAIL! So much for taking care of you shareholders. The AurGroup Holden Avenue branch is worse than a bank, but enjoys benefits a bank does not. I see why bankers despise credit unions. Time to move five accounts from AurGroup credit union. Suggestion: Do not open any accounts with AurGroup; the Holden Avenue branch. GE credit union is a great alternative.

If you want to be transported to banking experience before computers, cellphone, internet plus bad customer service, this will be the right place for you to get that experience. You are forced to open an account as a condition to get loan approved but then you can’t process payments online you either have to go in person or thru the mail using a coupon payment book (yeah I haven’t seen one of those since I was in elementary school)then on top of that once you make it to their facility to make a payment it’s a pick a choose to them which transactions they want to do thru the drive thru... doesn’t it sound charming? So if you want decent customer service an take advantage of the conveniences provided by technology in this century... this is definitely not the place for you...
