I tried to start an account with Whitewater but every time I went in to get it started they told me I needed a new or different piece of information with me. After 3 tries I finally decided that it wasn't worth the trouble. After the experience I had, I would recommend going to a different credit union.

If you are poor (as I am) and may over draw your account at times, I would definitely recommend a different financial institution. The way they final post the tranactions causes multiple overdraft fees even before your account is technically negative because all the charges are processed together. There are other banks (ie Huntington) that do not do this, but actually post your charges separately and in an order that causes you the least overdraft fees possible.

We have been customers of WCCU for several years. They have always provided great service. They take the time to answer any questions. They know us by name and can accommodate our needs with our personal and business accounts. We would not bank any place else.
