Harvest Federal Credit Union is polite and communicative customer service but slow. However, they aren't very car loan-friendly for younger individuals (with excellent credit) and have been noted for not respecting privacy for new customers.

Great place to work with! Customer service is outstanding. The staff is made up of long time employees that know who you are when you walk in or call. We moved out of state and still choose to do our business with them. They partnered us with a local Credit Union for any face to face transactions, but just a phone call to Harvest during business hours or their online services seem to handle most of our needs. Thank you Harvest for loyalty to your customers!

My girlfriend's online account was completely accessible while they were re-doing their online banking for several days. We had no way to do any kind of banking. Better yet a couple hundred dollars was MISSING from this account for several days after the new online banking was put up. This is pathetic and unacceptable. It also would appear that there are hidden fees associated with our credit card there that we DO NOT USE. We only leave it open for established credit history but it seems like every month we have a new $20 bill? The hours here are terrible and it is basically impossible to get any banking done if you work a normal schedule. It is especially worse when you are no longer local, like we are. When we refinanced our car that was previously at Harvest Federal the payoff letter they gave us to give to the new lein holder was a mostly blank paper with no letter head that just had the owed amount stated. This "credit union" appears to be no more than a scam preying on the locals here. If you're considering banking here I implore you to do anything else with your money. Putting it in a pit in the ground would probably be more productive.
