I’ve had repeated issues with TrueCore posting charges in a way that results in excessive overdraft fees. Transactions are delayed and then all posted at once when my account balance is already low, triggering multiple $29 overdraft fees instead of what should reasonably be a single overdraft event. Most recently, my account went to -$151, yet I was charged $145 in overdraft fees alone, which makes no sense mathematically. I was essentially charged fees nearly equal to the negative balance itself. This is not the first time this has happened. On a prior occasion, my account balance reached -$585 due to multiple overdraft fees, despite having my account set up to receive alerts anytime my balance drops below $20. No alerts were sent until it built up to -$585. When I contacted customer service, the representative was rude and dismissive, repeatedly listing transactions I could already see in my app and placing all blame on me instead of addressing the delayed posting or fee structure. This feels less like an error and more like a pattern that benefits the bank at the customer’s expense. I would strongly caution anyone considering banking with TrueCore.

The worst ever credit union!! They have people that are not trained probably and end up doing what u do not want them to do!! I call the call center and all they want to do is lecture you on security when they cannot even keep my account secure! About 2 months ago my account and others were hacked and someone did 2 transactions for $7000. We had to wait days to get our money back, go to the police station and file a report, and get a new account!!!! Time consuming! I called to get a letter sent to my new employer for direct deposit and they sent the wrong account because they never bothered to ask me what account I was talking about! I have three accounts. I got a money order from my brother and they refused to cash it because he did not sign. Even the supervisor agreed! Later they called me and told me that it would not be a problem to cash it!!! They absolutely need to train their employees better!!

We have dealt with TrueCore on multiple loans over the past several years and have always had a wonderful experience with them. Communication has always been great, and there have been no hidden fees or surprises throughout the process. And you can’t beat their rates! We will always continue to do business with them for any loans.

My husband put $$ in the ATM last Wednesday, and the ATM malfunctioned and did not process our $$ through. He went inside right after, told them what happened, had him fill out paperwork and told him it would fixed the next 1-2 days. Two days go by nothing has been fixed, we followed up and they told us it would be fixed the following Tuesday due to the weekend. Tuesday comes by nothing is fixed and they push the date day even further. We went to bank today to get an update, they lost our papers! Still no money! How unorganized and lack of communication this whole process has been. I doubt we’ll see this $$ now, definitely transferring to a new bank in the new year. We’re at our wits end.

Highly dissatisfied with their auto loan process. Loan officer went over numbers and credit with us on a Saturday and said we had an A rating and would have an answer by Monday. Monday rolls around and they want W2s, paystubs, and credit card statements. Took 3 days to get an answer and they would not consider our full take home pay despite consistent history OT, bonuses, and commission. Just wondering, if OT and commission cannot be factored in because they are not a guarantee how does someone with a full commission based job get considered for a loan? The loan officer did try to help as much with the process so my grievance isn’t with her, it’s Truecores ridiculous lending process. Avoid going here for loans!
