I don't go to the bank very often, but when a bank puts hours on their door that says they are open until 5, I would expect them to be open before that. Like 3:45 pm on a Wednesday. If you want to close early, I get it. However, don't do that and not communicate that to your customers. Your hours for Wednesday say you are open until 5. Please either stay open until 5 or change your hours online and on your door.

"You can only make a shared branch deposit when our lobby is open which is every day except for Wednesday's afternoon". That's not what's listed on google, I guess I should do more research before visiting a typical credit union. Before leaving work an hour and a half early to make it in time, for you to not accept my deposit through the drive through, for which all you need to do is scan my ID and count my cash. Note, I didn't have this issue with my previous car loan depositing at this same location. I will have missed 5 hours of work now so that I could make time to deposit at this credit union. "Thank you have a nice day" I was told 3 times as I sat in the drive through trying to figure out when I was going to pay my car loan. See you at 9AM for my deposit!

I love this CU. Oak Harbor is my home branch but I like all 3. They are very friendly and are very willing to go out of their way to help you with an issue if they can. An they will also allow doggos in the lobby! They are now also offering KASASA which is a great opportunity in the banking world!

I am furious with this place right now! I gave my daughter my card to make a withdraw from the ATM. This ATM is notoriously famous for being broken all the time or having issues, or out of money. I should have known better to use it but was pressed for time and couldn't go to my own bank. Their ATM ate my card and wouldn't give it back. My daughter calls me to tell me what happened, I called the bank as they were still open. As she has me on the phone and I explain to her what happened, there is someone outside assisting my daughter to retrieve the card. When they pull it out and see it's not a Commodore Perry card all of a sudden they can't give me my card back! Now I have to go to my bank and have a new card made! I've been with Glass City for 22 years and there's a reason for it, they would never treat customers this way! So much for shared branching, I'll never use Commodore Perry again! Use at your own risk!

I truly am not one to post bad reviews, however I need to share my experience from this morning. Dylan was selling a vehicle that was registered to me. The buyer gave us a check in which needed to be cashed before possession of the vehicle was taken. So I went to the bank location as to which the check was written . I explained to the teller what I needed to do. Remember, the money was being drawn from an existing account( the purchaser). The teller informed me that because I was not a customer of the Credit Union I would be charged $10.00 to cash this check. I was reluctant but agreed. While waiting for the teller to complete the transaction ,another woman walked up to the window beside me and wanted to cash in rolled coin. She was asked if she had an account with Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union. The woman responded “no”. That teller proceeded to tell the woman that they usually charge a fee for the transaction. I can’t believe my ears and I certainly can’t contain my comment. I stated to my teller how interesting I found it that I was paying a service fee because I was not a customer however the woman next to me , also not a customer but receiving a service was not charged a service fee. My teller responded”I guess that’s how we make our money.” You will never see my money in your business again. I was always under the impression that a credit union was a good choice. Not me. Nope no way. Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union is inconsistent with customer service. It wasn’t about the amount of money, it was about the consistency of policy.
