This Kemba location has been unprofessional for years, and my recent visit was the last straw. The banker, Brooke, even tried to talk to me in slang—as if it was acceptable to switch professionalism off when speaking to me. Completely disrespectful. They also tried to tell me I couldn’t close my account unless I accepted a cashier’s check, which is absolutely false. After 7 years of banking here—and even having a car loan with them—I’ve been repeatedly treated as if I was less than. I have an 800+ credit score, and when I applied for another auto loan, they tried to put me through hoops I’ve never had to deal with before. I went to another bank and was approved in seconds. This branch has been consistently rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. No greeting, no professionalism, and staff who act annoyed anytime a customer asks a question. I honestly don’t understand how this location is still open. They desperately need serious customer service and professionalism training. I’ve moved all of my money elsewhere, and I’m glad I did.

NO STARS DESERVED !!! This Kemba location is consistently rude. I finally removed all of my money because I couldn’t take the poor service anymore. The entire staff seems miserable—no welcoming smiles, no friendliness, and they act annoyed when you ask basic questions. Every time I walk into this branch, I’ve never been greeted with a simple “Welcome to Kemba.” Fifth Third and US Bank would never treat customers this way, and I know because I bank with them. They consistently show kindness and respect. This branch needs serious improvement. Either close this location or hire staff who actually enjoy their job and know how to provide proper customer service.

I needed to open up another savings account today, and a MSR Cindy provided me with Excellent customer service. Cindy went over all of the savings information and let me know how I can earn more interest by opening up.a Money Market account which was a great decision. Cindy had on these beautiful sparkly earrings she got from Kohls and I complimented them and told her my birthday was in a few days! Guess who has those beautiful earings!😍 Cindy is the bestvand she knows it!

These individuals do not operate as serious bankers. While major institutions process wire transfers in as little as 15-20 minutes, wiring funds into Kemba routinely takes 24-48 hours. If you take your business seriously, Kemba is no partner—they clearly do not, and do not care. The employees are clearly there to get a paycheck and nothing more, they do not care.

Kemba used to be an excellent credit union that truly cared for its members, providing top-notch customer service. Unfortunately, recently their service has gone downhill. The customer service is awful, and no one seems to know what’s going on—especially after their mobile app upgrade. The West Chester location is the worst. I can’t ever get anyone to assist me correctly over the phone. After years of loyalty, I decided to close my accounts and move on to avoid the constant stress. My money deserves better—because it doesn’t jiggle jiggle, it folds. Everyone deserves a great credit union, but Kemba is just not one of them anymore. Like a bad neighbor, they won’t be there when you need help. I highly recommend not banking with Kemba.
