I have been a member of SWOKFCU so long, it used to be the Teacher's Credit Union! I have NEVER had a bad experience, and the people are friendly, professional and caring. I give 5 stars for this reason.😊

I recently opened a new account at Southwest Oklahoma Federal Credit Union and was not impressed. The staff I interacted with came across as unfriendly and short, and they failed to provide all the necessary information I needed when opening a checking account. It seems like there’s a struggle to perform the job correctly, and I place the responsibility on management — it’s their job to ensure employees are properly trained and up to standard. The one positive experience was at the Loan office — they were great, and that’s the only reason this review is getting two stars instead of one.

I have been banking with SOFCU for many years now and wouldn't think of going through another for my loans. I no longer live in Lawton but they are always my first call and take care of me. They treat you like family!

I hope you are aware that if you write a check from this bank to anyone else without an account there, they charge them $5 to cash it. No other bank in our area does that!

Love banking here, been with SWOFCU for 6 years and have never had a problem. Tellers are always super fast and friendly, never a line and a real true person answers the phone when I call. Couldn't ask for better service from a Bank!
